Apparently were replacing Barmby with Billy Davies and were ready to accept a 1.5million pound bid from Leicester for Chester, for ****s sake what is going on?!!?!?
an opportunity to swap a team full of some of our most promising youngsters for years for some money and a trip down the league.
Allsorts really. What about a consortium takeover with shares available to fans which gives them a fans rep on the board, headed by AP and NT?
I think Assem has lost it, he has sacked our manager, made our Director of Football leave, then to top it off apparently were selling our best players and the club is up for sale, bascially he's pushing the demolition button on Hull City
That's only because you don't know **** all about the internal workings at Hull City and you don't like the bloke because he nicked your pen. If you knew him and what he did for us, you'd be ****ing embarrassed about that post. You should be embarrassed anyway.
He hasnt though has he? From the day he bought FC he was always going to quit to run it full time and, ever the PR opportunist (something our Egyptian friends could learn from) he has found the perfect excuse to throw himself on his sword but miss by a few feet.
To get in a manager that won't: a) increase pressure on players who haven't performed for over a year by making comments to the media about being so sure they'll turn it round that he hasn't even looked to see who's available - strikers in January, when saying the players to improve the squad would be too expensive for sensibly run club to sign would have taken pressure off everybody. b) play virtually the same 11 until they're all knackered when there's 9 games in a month and then get surprised that results go downhill and they start getting injured. - Barmby has said it contributed to McLean's injury, I'd say Chester's as well, and possibly Koren's. We know Evans eventually had to be rested as he was struggling, Fryatt was dropped to the bench for 2 games, and we saw Rosenior and McKenna go downhill as the month wore on. c) Doesn't complain that the fans want to see alternative plans when the team is on a losing run - Barca lose 2 games and the manager says he'll have to look to change the tactics, we're losing and fans are idiots for saying we need a plan B because we didn't ask for one when we were winning. Again, if the reason for the suspension/sacking is as described it's ridiculous, but the loss of Barmby isn't that great.
I am absolutely shocked, this makes no sense at all, barmbys comments were not offensive in any way, just saying what most managers would say, i feel there has got to be a lot more to this.
Come on Ricardo, you're a bright bloke, you don't seriously think Nick didn't want to sign players in January? He got ****ed over, he tried to make sure it didn't happen again in the summer and it got him sacked.
I think he means this (hopefully) load of bollocks http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/nick-barmby-has-walked-out-of-hull-813001
