I would agree that Fabregas was bought to eventually replace Xavi. But, he has some way to go to be in that class. As Dona said, replacing key players and trying to keep a dynasty from falling, is not as easy as it may look.
By the way, apart from TWO games, Fabregas is having a fantastic first season back in Spain. He's fit like a glove. Don't be so silly.

Of course. But, that's hardly the point, is it? Fabregas is a very good player. However, trying to play him in a midfield that already has Xavi and Iniesta, is not ine of Guardiola's better ideas. They are both better than him, so will be automatic first choices for the forseeable future.
As the OP didn't say that Fabregas stated that was why he was leaving, you can only be objecting to the claim that's why he left.
I think its funny that you know full well that my interpretation of this article on post 34 is entirely correct, yet you latch on to an irrelevant peripheral point on that post. Typical misdirection tactics on your part.

I am not entering into a debate on Fabregas's motives for leaving Arsenal, I am proving my point about why this article is entirely negative about Fabregas because the OP has a pathetic bitter dis-like for a former Arsenal player, in response to your claim that the article is not negative about our former player.

I was never discussing the reasons for Fabregas leaving Arsenal. This was my post:
You asked me why and I have clearly told you why. The question of Fabregas motives for leaving only came in because you have decided that is what this article is about (as like most Mods you think your opinion is the only valid one), and as I have pointed out that is clearly not the motivation of the original OP to post this article. If it was he would not have called it the "Fabregas Effect".
so anyway the point is as good as he is he isnt as good as Xavi,Iniesta or that Argentinian bloke....and that is the point here...big fish in small pond becomes ameoba in an ocean.....he does not fit like a glove as i dont think that midfield is balanced...they are all too similar...no variation...example..we love Modric but a midfield full of Modric's and id pull my fekin hair out watching them..its good to mix it up..and bodes well for success when diffrent players can step up depending on the oppo...just look at Madrid...tell me Barca didnt miss a powerhouse midfielder like Ronaldo in that midfield as oppose to a poor version of Xavi...tell me that Yaya Toure wouldnt have had more impact than Fabregas did against a defence like Chelsea's...my god they bore me to death with their 4 yard passes,sideways.
