Twice he has tweeted that he had met with his agent which sounds alarm bells for me. He has gone very quiet on twitter now. I know he went off for a while but came back on and was tweeting as normal but there has been nothing for a few weeks (Or I haven't been paying attention). As for him living happily with the other Man U lads, I know that was the case at first but not so sure now because people are saying Chester has bought a house so presumably his gf will be with him, Dudgeon is buying a house and I am not sure where Cory Evans or Brady live. I would hate him to go and then play brilliantly for Leicester or wherever, but then again I only want him to stay if his heart is in it.

With that theory in mind, please tell me James Chester did the same thing too??

Sorry but he's a PL player. He doesn't sound like he wants to move, but if he did it'd be to a decent PL side.

I said before he came back that Stewart got better every game he didn't play. I think some people expected too much from him.

But he proved you wrong in his first few games back, for about a month he was creating a goal every game and just generally being awesome. It was only after a month or two that his form started going downhill, a lot to with his body and physical condition I'd suggest.

He's done a Mendy, just stopped running.

That's what made him dangerous, running at speed at full backs with all his step overs.

He's either scared to, or doesn't want to.

Personally don't think we should sell him. He has a lot of talent in there, the skill in management here is getting him back to his old self, not giving up on him.

I've said it before, let's not make a habit of selling our most talented young players.

I'd agree with this, with a pre-season under his belt he could be back to his best.

As for the OP, I completely agree that it would be very easy to do this but I think it's unlikely that it happened in this scenario. The most likely cause for his drop in form is his injury. He's played pretty much every game since his injury and it's affected the other regulars who haven't been out with serious knee injuries, so of course it's going to affect Stewart.

Cameron lives with Chester, Chezys sis tweeted a few days back.(@abigail_chester if you want to check)

Well he always refers to Chester as "dad" so no surprise there. I had a look at Chester's sister's twitter a few weeks back and was a bit disappointed that she didn't seem to have a very good opinion of city fans. Someone must have tweeted her something about us and I can't remember her exact reply but she seemed to think that city fans were loving Chester one minute and slagging him off the next and she was used to it. I really wanted to reply and say don't tar us all with the same brush. I have actually never heard anyone slagging him off but would guarantee that out of 16,000 at a game there would only be maybe 20-50 who had a bad word to say about him. It is really sad that she has that opinion.

Cameron Stewart had a poor second half to the season. However, I don't buy into the notion that 'he' wants to go to Leicester, at all. He is living, and enjoying life living with the other ex man u lads here. Pearson at Leicester won't be handing out the same brain dead contracts Sven did, Pearson isn't likely to last at Leicester beyond next season (if he gets them promoted then it's likely he'll be jettisoned for someone experienced in the top flight) if they fail to challenge for a promotional slot, then it's likely he'll be sacked. What's the point? I don't think Leicesters chances of promotion will be any better than ours. We did after all finish above them this season <laugh>

You may gloat but your Tiggerish mates are pretty close with their conspiracy theory ... I happen to know that our owners have engineered meetings with Master Stewart before each game recently and have encouraged him to drink copious amounts of Sungha lager-beer which has filled him with gas and slowed him right down ... you see Mr Bond, we are already implementing our cunning plans for next season when the natural order will be restored! - Ta Ta for now or, as we say in Thailand, Fuk Yu - Tigger Types

Us being promoted to the Premier league and you relegated to L1?? <ok>

Good call, Mullet-man! <applause> <applause> <applause>

Now now lads don't get too excited - we have only been in the third tier once in our illustrious history, so liking a return to the restoration of natural order is more optimistic than realistic ... I would have no problem with you guys getting back to the Prem and I wish you well in your quest for the runners-up spot nect season. <cheers>

That is very gracious of you Fosse. And I wish you well in your quest for a play off place next season <ok>

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. He was a reasonable player before he got injured and while he was unavailable fans inflated his ability so he was suddenly a world beater.

That's the jist of what he's saying anyway.

I think you are spot on
