My son and I sat watching the match as England supporters, ended up cheering Ghana. :):):)

Carol did well, I still think he could turn into a world class striker given time.
We were over the moon when we went one up.
Damn fine match which ever way you look at it.
As the game went on we were telling the Ghana players what to do, yeah we sit screaming at the telly as if the players can here us.
Muntari had a good game, Gyan worked his socks off. Mensah so so.
When Gyan scored we were chuffed as Ghana definitely deserved a draw.
One of the best "friendlies" I have seen for years.

We saw the worst of Willshere falling over all the time and dodgy tackles, I still think he is a class player but he needs to get this out of his game.

Downing MOTM???? WTF?
Did they watch the same game as me?
His miss control to Carol for the goal was the only time he passed to an England player.
Milner should have got MOTM for me.

Barry was **** again, made one good pass and dozens of bad ones, including nearly putting Ghana in a couple of times.. The tit Townsend said he was brilliant and hadn't put a foot wrong???

Lescot is **** as Gyan proved so decisively. :):):)

Still enjoyed the game, we played with freedom.
Lets do the same when the big names are in the team, instead of where everyone is scared to move from position.

according to the commentators wilshere was class, muntari bossed the midfield and its the best friendly ive ever watched, bar Sporting CP v Sunderland when nyron scored

I thought Gyan and Muntari were superb, Mensah put in some great challenges and made some very decent interceptions, hopefully the extra games have got him back sharp.

I thought Downing was a constant threat, and i again reiterate i think he'd be quality for us, and was delighted to see Danny get his debut, even if he never had the chance to make an impression.

Cahill impressed me again at the back, composure, timing, strong in the air, the lad is a class defender, we should try and get him, although we'd surely have massive competition.

A few of the Ghana lads besides ours 3 were very impressive, Vorsah at the back is a unit, and the fella up top with Gyan his movement was superb.

No more Africans though, as we will have no team when the cup of nations comes around!

(If Mensah and Muntari don't stay, i'll take Vorsah)

I was very disappointed in Wishere mate.
Worst I have seen him play, I was pleased the ref wasn't falling for his antics.
Going over everytime a Ghana player was beside him, or one of those nasty little tackles he puts in.

BB gonna have to agree to disagree about Downing (again :) )
My son rates him too.

I still think the amount of chances he has to deliver decent ball into the box and fails is just not good enough.
No doubting he can run with the ball, not much point when there's no end product.

I've always liked him, he's a chalk and cheese player.

Facts are, his pace with the ball, combined with Gyan and Wellbecks movement, could be a massive asset, without even thinking about crossing.

I was there when he played for us against WBA, and i'll never forget how good he was.

That memory sticks, hence my fondness.

(Can see your point mind)

Theres no denying at times he looks world class, he scored a goal the other week that was great.
But like I say he isn't consistent.
I once saw Whitehead have a good game for us. (Honest)
