"Did he raise his hands or attempt to raise his hands to paatelainen?"

just as well really - big mixu would destroy him.....

he was too busy grabbing the 4th official to make sure it seemed like he was being held back.....

wattie - coward or nutcase - you decide!

did you watch the video? mixu was ****ing himself, he even got a copper involved.

you cannot, CANNOT, be claiming that sir "walk on" wa(l)ter intimidate big mixu fattylining - a man who as a player simply battered every centre half he played against

watties brittle old bones would disintegrate at the mere waving of the mighty mixu's hands

i imagine mixu's words to the copper were "move that drunk woman flapping her bingo wings or i will not be held responsible for my actions"

Are there any Celtic fan on here who will admit lennon's actions have at times been embarrasing ? Are there any who can admit that they can see why he is so disliked ?

I've already said I do not condone his actions. What I, and others, are trying to point out is that the reaction to his behaviour is OTT and not evenly applied among other managers.

he hardly did anything that no other manager has done. Lennon takes it to a whole new level. He's ****ing insane. A rabid dog, spitting venom at officials at any given moment. Sky should introduce Lennon Cam just for a laugh

i think 3 have already said he should have displayed more control and better judgement - i think he was in the wrong and should apologise

the problem seems to be that the overreaction is hysterical - i think its extremely naive to suggest he is hated because of his reaction to refereeing decisions - there is clearly much more to it than that

I don't read papers Russ, I have an IQ over 20. Nor do I trawl interweb forums looking for offence or to be annoyed.

So why are you on here giving your opinion on the Celtic Manager and how his behaviour offends you? Some of the comments you have made suggest that Neil Lennon more than "annoys" you.

Is your IQ 21?

What a load of ****e.

There is no hope for Scottish society when this type of pish gets spouted.

Fernando Ricksen was subject to similar **** press by the media, was attacked on the pitch and pelted with coins and lighters at Parkhead, this was clearly because of the anti-Dutch bigotry entrenched in Scotland.

Nacho Novo was subjected to death threats, attacked on the street and had his address published online by rival fans, this was a symptom of the anti-spanish bigotry that prevails in Scottish society.

People who elevate a footballing issue into something more important need their heads read.

I take it you don't agree Lennon gets a raw deal from the media?

It wasn't me, I was having a pint in a pub in Caldercruix and some guy came in carrying a bag of rotten fruit and told me that his mate told him that it was the mad team from Leith that did it.

It's on the Internet and as such, MUST be true.

<PROVANSTHEORY>

you're missing the point - i dint say it wasnt about football- i said it wasnt about his reaction to refereeing decisions

i'd suggest its primarily because, as a player, he was an aggressive wee nyaff on the pitch (ian black esque)

YOU made it into something it want there my friend :)

(edit - there will be a few nutters who dislike him for other reasons but i dont count them - they are horrible humans not worth wasting my breath on)

I'm afraid you've lost me, it must be that superior 4 digit IQ of yours.

I don't know, I've not bought a tabloid in 3 years.

I form my own opinion from what I seen on Sunday, I don't think what Lennon did was particularly shocking as a 'one-off' event, the culmination of umpteen of these confrontations results in even more scrutiny from the media.

That's quite logical from my point of view.

I don't read the tabloids either but I watch TV and they use the same language, that's why I said the "Media".

The coverage that Lennon gets compared to other managers is ridiculously over the top, maybe that's how they sell their sordid chip wrappers, by printing ****e that appeals to people who want desperately to believe that Neil Lennon is actually the Devil in disguise.

Some actually believe it without reading newspaper tittle tattle, so who knows, perhaps they are to be pitied more for thier stupidity than people who have been brainwashed by the media.

you mean "saw?"

IQ indeed

Well this thread is a refreshing change. Anybody would think there wasn't an administration going on.

If reporting Lennon confronting the referee is over the top, what do you expect?
