We'll be there - 8 of us will be going. Everyone attending must get into one of the best football pubs in the country - it's a total pit. The Blackhorse at Exhall - it's just off junction 3 of the M6 and about a 15 minute walk to the ground. One of my highlights of the season..

It just so happens that I have a Renault Megane estate car, the same as the one that Yorkie had, except that it has the steering wheel on the correct side.

Just spoke to my Mum who told me whilst staying over at Sopwell House at the weekend, the Ghanaian football team were staying there along with some "important people they bowed to". Also she told me that "one of the people who everyone wanted autographs and photos with" (Asamoah Gyan?) tried pushing in front of her in the check-in queue. She told him where to go...

Norway you work with helicopters don't you? I seem to remember you were doing an examination on Pratt and Witney engines. Could you not borrow a chopper and land it in Cassiobury Park and walk to the ground. I dare say one of the oil companies would come and stick some fuel in it to get you home again.

    hello all

finally I do have a football problem that needs solving in style

got the blurb on the WL offer through this morning, it says I should seek advice from a qualified financial expert, so...what do I do?

Accept and cash in my (70) shares?

or hang on in the hope that there'll be a bidding war and that I hold the balance of power in the boardroom battle?

Any advice gratefully appreciated, the value of shares can go down aswell as up, your home is at risk etc etc

Norwayhornet - I have to go to Victoria everyday (although, if you hadn't heard, NOT FOR LONG!!) and it is OK. They are just advising people to not use Victoria to avoid over crowding and congestion, but it shouldn't be closed (although they may close it on the weekend)

Bit of insider information: if you use the Central and District Line exit, there are no escalator works in that part of the station. If you get on the 3rd from last carriage, the doors will open right opposite the exit you need!

Norway - You are flying in on the 29th? I will check out some more options for you.... Seeing as it is the royal wedding day, I would have thought they would have suspended some of the repairs on the railway. I will check on the Bedpan line and see what is going on there...
Will be a cracking couple of days you will have - my mate who is organising the table at QPHa is also going to the end of season do, so you will be able to carry on the drinking...<ale> with him..

I read the thread about the take over on 606 and I am more confused than when I started. There are some good points but I think none of us know what is happening and we will never know until Panos and Bassini sell up and go or the club breaks.

Aaaah, Norwayhornet, if you are flying in on 29th then Victoria Station in its entirety will be closed as far as I am aware. I have a map of the closures for the Royal Wedding day. I'll try and find it and let you know.

akureyri - I to am very confused with the whole takeover malarkey. It certainly does seem as if some vital information is being kept behind as everything seems so vague. I think we can only wait until we have some more information. It is mostly based on assumption at the moment, which is never good or accurate.
