Cramlington, Newcastle
Newcastle United back in Europe is just around the corner, and Christ has it been a long time coming, we've been through the dirt, seen our history mocked but here we are, on the verge of Europe.

I seriously doubt we will get champions league football but I do know one thing, we'll give it a good bloody go.

We're pissing teams off left right and centre, totally messing up the top 6. We have Chelsea to play, if we go there with the attitude of nothing to lose, we'll win that game, or at least not lose. We'll be annoying Chelsea most, how dare we go ahead of their millionaires with 5 games left.

We'll be up for the fight as fans, and I'm sure the players will be too. One last push is all we need and then the dream of drinking a cold pint on foreign soil, surrounded by thousands of Geordies before a big European night will once again become a reality.

Make the most of it lads, this may not happen for many years to come again, so take the risk, miss work, burst the bank, get your passport and enjoy the toon in Europe.

Not looking bad, same points as Spurs with the same games played, 5 points behind the Gunners which becomes 3 points if we win our game in hand.

1 Man Utd 34 54 82
2 Man City 34 58 77
3 Arsenal 34 24 64
4 Tottenham 33 19 59
5 Newcastle 33 08 59

Finally, a thread on this board that isn't a question then an answer to the question and asking what you think.

We can push for Champions League, Chelsea's fixture build up, Spurs' poor form and our 'more difficult run in make the playing field even. I don't think there's a clear favourite to take 4th but at least the Europa League is secured and a nice soft landing if we slip off the Champions League table

Correct me if I'm wrong Bruce but we will be 2 points behind arsenal no?

Yeah, except that either Chelsea or Arsenal need to take points from their game. A Chelsea Arsenal draw, and us turning over Stoke, would see us in a 3 point sandwich: 3 points below Arsenal, 3 points ahead of Chelsea, with Spurs hopefully making up the red sauce

loving every minute of it.
The southern press are pissed too as their beloved London clubs don't have things sewn up anymore!
