    Gonna be fascinating.

AS i said before the Chelsea game, I don't want to see King starting for us again.

So Nelsen definitely in, but who to partner him?

The way I feel ATM is this

Friedel, Smith Walker Nelsen Rose, Modric Bale VDV Parker Livermore Ade

    in whatever formation you like.

Probably too radical, but I've had enough of King and BAE, and am disappointed with Gallas, and don't think Lennon is part of our best XI.

How many changes will Harry make, will they be enough?

You throw a bitch fit when I dare suggest Tom Carroll start against Stevenage, and now you're suggesting Adam Smith start in a must-win game against QPR?

I'm also confused why you suggest Walker or Smith play centre back, given they're the exact same type of player - attacking right backs. But apparently I'm the one that knows nothing about team selection, just like everyone else is wrong when they noticed the losses started racking up when we started playing two defensive midfielders...

Am I reading this correctly as Adam Smith as RB with Kyle Walker as CB ???

What it looks like to me. Walker played CB for Northampton a few times I believe.

    Did he ?? I didn't know that.

Whatever, he sure as heck isn't going to start CB against QPR this weekend.

Walker at CB is a nono. He barely seems to grasp his positional responsibilities at RB at times. CB is a whole different ball game. Does anybody know how long Kaboul is out for?

Just an idea OS. What would you do? Do we stick with Gallas despite his problems, who else is there?

Fair enough, forget Walker. So who's going to play CB?

Gallas and Nelsen, how good is that? Not very I fear.

I'd give Livermore a go, did well in Europe, can't really be any worse than Gallas. Livermore and Nelsen for me <ok>

Don't get me wrong here, as I agree, we're stuffed when it comes to our current CB situation. Not sure about Kaboul's fitness, Gallas is so susceptible to the ball over the top, King is playing like a player who never trains and Nelsen is... well he's a last resort really.

I think I am more annoyed that we have allowed ourselves to get into this farcial sitruation, to be honest.

With all due respect to you, that is a non starter. Livermore did ok when he played there before, nothing more than ok. I really can't see Harry picking him in these last few must win games, at CB.

I have watched Jake since he first came through at Spurs, and although I've seen him at CB on a few occasions, he really is a square peg in a round hole in that position. The thought of him there with Ryan Nelsen is quite scary.

Fair enough, I accept your points. To be honest King and Gallas is quite scary for me at the moment.

I don't think it matters much what team goes out from here, to me Harry seems to have isolated himself a bit, I hate to say I wonder how many are playing for him, well aware of his non commital to Tottenham next season. He's not mentioned much by the players now, its just all very different from last year. It looked like some of our players may have disagreed with VdV going off on Sunday too, can't say anything though can they.

I'm at a loss as to who will play.. or who should play against QPR. Some of our key players are underperforming and look a bit leggy, potential replacements are either injured or untried. The only position we seem to have options is upfront and I'm not sure 442 away is a good idea.

As long as we don;t play 5-3-2 again - not least because we're down to our last three centre backs, and Gallas is one of 'em...

I was happy to play QPR some weeks ago...not now. Hughes has got them going, and now its a real nasty of a fixture for us. My crystal ball of doom see's Taarabt....no, I can't bring myself to write it. :(

Fair enough, is that any more than a gamble than Walker?

I'd prefer Jake as a DM, but if he played CB I wouldn't be horrified.

Yep OS, I'm assuming Kab won't make it, that seems to be the accepted 'wisdom' on various boards.

We're stuffed as you say, so what does Harry do about it?

Does he make the same mistake as against Norwich and Chelsea and start King, surely not. What then?

The players may not be playing for Harry, but how about for themselves and the fans? Unless they all think they're ****ing off in the summer, don't they want CL football? Maybe all they want is their wages?

The danger we have, is that qpr have some nifty players who may not be able to make it at top teams any longer but have enough ability to cause some serious problems if they are on form and we gave them space.

However they are prone to being hit on the counter so we can win this game if we play a counter attacking game yet we look so weak at centre back, that it doesn't look to clever.

We have to go with the experience of gallas and nelsen and while gallas has looked more then dodgy, he did help us keep a clean sheet at stamford bridge and can still put in a top performance.

I know this hasn't been mentioned and i wonder if sandro could slot in at centre back as while he doesnt have pace, he is great at reading the game and is strong, he may well be gash but im sure he could do a decent job in an emergency.
