No, I don't claim to know better due to reading Phil's blog. I am saying with absolute certainty that attempting to register players when there is a registration embargo placed upon you is not dignified. At the time Rangers were 15 points ahead I mind some Celtic fans saying it was only 9 due to the games in hand then being slapped down by bears claiming it's 15 as the games in hand could be lost.
