Have you beaten Man City? To be fair, passing isn't everyone's cup of tea. But, when we pass the ball at our very best (Against Fulham away), we are unplayable and could quite possibly beat any Premier league team.
I only see the 10 minutes highlights shown on MOTD every week, so am not in a position to judge your style of play. That style of play, however has proved to be enough to guarantee your survival this season so, to that end, has been successful. I think what a lot of posters are saying is, had you had a bit more flexibility, could you have picked up a few more points this season, and with the surprise factor now gone, will you need to show that flexibility to survive next season. This doesn't mean you have to give up your principles of neat passing play, just you just have to adapt, sometimes be a tad more direct. Fair play to you though, and see you next season. As for the spanking we took yesterday, I think there is a general concensus that anyone who'd played Man. City yesterday would have got a good pasting.
But it could be argued that had you played possession football yesterday you could have got a point or three out of the game. Your style of football is not the only way to play football, and equally it could be said you have been found out. All that matters is the points accumulated over the season.
Like you say, results, and your position at the end of the season tells it's own story. It's been great that both our teams have been able to ruffle a few feathers this season. Long may it continue.
Think he has a high opinion of Swansea City, not himself! Like you have of your club I should think, people basing their entire argument on a few minutes seen on motd doesn't give their opinion much merit. I don't think I have seen swans fans being so negative to your club at all on here, still it takes all kinds I guess.
"Let's put this Swansea business to bed they mean absolutely nothing to me, their just another team." Did your English lessons mean nothing as well? It's 'they're'. So now we've had praise because of where we're from? Come on, that's stretching it. Certain sections of the Norwich fan base seem to really have their noses out of joint over this. Be grateful of of where you are, how well you've done and leave it at that.
my dad is bigger than yours.. ffs lads..... Both teams are mid table in their first season in the EPL with 4 games left, that is fantastic.... Norwich has had their ****e games like Swansea has too, just as Norwich have had their great games like Swansea has too...... Both sets of fans love their club, does this thread really need to continue with who think they play the best football - as it stands there's a point in it.... Lets hope we can both have a good run in and we both continue to grow next season and show the big money spenders that there are other ways to make it to the top.
Sorry spelling fascist, it's so obvious you don't like my opinion so you criticise something trivial like that. Yes if you were from Shropshire I don't think they would make such a big deal about it, but once again your just another club I don't feel threatened by you neither do I care about you.
Sorry, but it was a grammatical error AND a spelling mistake in my book. Anyway, so let's get this straight. You actually believe that Kamara, Lawrenson, Shearer, Hansen et al are only praising our style of play because we're from Wales. I suppose every club has one.
to be fair it has been boring these past few games and me and a few others noticed the way we are not playing like we have been in the past. some jacks cant take critisism of any kind but i dont care a toss, iff we are playing bad and getting beat with all our possession then something is not right.....yesterday it was back to the way we were playing that has had great reviews from everyone and we won with ease and certain safety, the football that we play is far from boring when done the right way. why we changed in keeping the ball in our own half for 90% of the time is a mystery to me and it took 4 games for brendan to admit defeat and yesterday saw us back to normal and playing entertaining football you could wish to see......
As you have chosen to use this term in public Northampton, I will also post in here. I find the use of the term 'Nazi' quite offensive. Why not use a different term? I'm sure there are many more acceptable words you could have used. Please remove the offending word. Thanks.
How interesting thanks for clearing that up for me, don't let me stop you watching Countryfile or whatever you usually watch on a Sunday Jack Yes I do the media love regions, no need to make a big deal about it. I think you play some good football and have some good players so get over yourselves.
Oh come on Maestro, would you prefer if I used the word fascist instead then? This place is beginning to turn into the old 606.
