Here's a thought to cheer us up this evening. Mathematical safety is only 1 more dropped QPR point away. <cheers>

Can the only get the same points as us now Robbie? They have a worse GD (although our took a bit of a hit today!).

Yes. Played 34, Points 31. QPR may still survive, but the loss to WBA today is a big blow to them with Tottenham, Chelsea and Man City still to come!

I will admit I am a bit thick, but Wolves can only get 35 points, Blackburn can only get 40 points, and QPR can only equal our points tally. Bolton could overtake us but it doesn't matter. All we need is one point or for QPR to drop a point....... My brain hurts

I'm a ****ing genius then!

<laugh>

Whoever it was (Machiavelli?) who said "There are 3 kinds of people, 1. Geniuses; 2. People who aren't geniuses but who can recognise genius when they come across it; 3. the rest", obviously got it wrong. Dave is living proof there's a fourth kind -- geniuses who recognise it in themselves! <laugh> <cheers>

Ah thanks. Makes sense now. I'm supposed to be good at maths. <whistle>

Don't worry wonky, Roy Hodgson can't count either! "I thought we were safe [after beating Blackburn] but now we are mathematically safe [having beaten QPR today]". Umm, Roy, 31 plus 12 is ........ <laugh>

I'm better at maths than hodgson. Just look at my thread on premier league goalscorers and their goals per game.

May have to do another one.
