Yep great result for west ham and the goal difference is close now, so what? Weve got a three game season with the prize of the prem. Win them all and were up win two and draw one were up, win two loose one and we'll probably be up, any less than that and we could still very much go up were in pole posistion. Weve got a great manager who will manage the players perfect, no time for fighting now just full unequivocal(sp??) support of the players for these last three cup finals. we can and will do it COYRS

This is hideous. First of all we lose to Reading when we played much better and should have beat them and now West Ham aren´t just winning but they are battering Brighton and have reduce our margin of gaol difference to just three! FFS!

Play like we did against Reading and we'll win all three of our remaining games. We're still in a great position.

...and top it all off we can´t celebrate Pompey getting relegated yet because they have scored two goals in the 90th min!!

I am going to drink myself to sleep tonight.

not too sure about that , we passed the ball well on occasions but how many clear cut chances did we create ? We will not get it that easy at boro and now the goal difference has gone we need a result from all 3 games .

Before you get the rope to sling yourself off the nearest bridge, just remember that after today, with the same games played, Saints will still be three points ahead of West Ham, with a 3 goal better GD. Now, which ever way you look at it, that's a better position.

I am getting so fed up with some people, all over the place why are Saints fans so bloody negative. So what if West Ham beat Brighton, that was always going to happen they still have to WIN on tuesday, if they don't they're still 3 points behind. Christ, it's getting so boring how people just think so negatively, get behind the team and it will come good!! As a result of this I won't be coming back on Not606 until the end of the season as I don't want this negative talk draining me out. STAY POSITIVE!!!

What a bunch of lily livered, nervous pessimists some of our fans are...It's still in our hands FFS!...Would West Ham switch places with us? they would snatch your hand off...Why oh why do people keep saying that it is all over if we finish 3rd?...ok, it's not ideal, but we would still be the best team in the play-offs.

For those that don't like this sort of thing, Pompey just relegated Doncaster by winning 4-3. I think it's a laugh. <laugh>

Gotta say, that's a pretty cool way to do a relegation switcheroo on the team you're playing though.

Would be cool if it was any other team but for Pompey to do it, it is a p*ss take.

There is no need to panic just yet. By all means panic if we lose on Tuesday but even a point will keep us on course. We need 7 points to be sure of promotion. There is no guarantee that West Ham or Reading will win all their games. It's the Championship anything can happen. We could be top come 10pm on Tuesday (unlikely admittedly but it could happen).

Indeed, which illustrates the point I was trying to make. If you feel bad because Saints have faltered slightly, just think what Doncaster Rovers fans are going through. As I write, just about an hour ago they were cruising, and perhaps saving themselves to fight another day. And despite having a player sent off, they were still in the box seat come the eigthy-ninth minute. Then not one but two goals get scored by Pompey, to see them slither out from under Rovers grip. So Rovers fans go from joy to despair in the space of perhaps two or three minutes..? Think about that when you're** despairing about being three points and three goals clear of WHU.

**Not you, Saintjack. Just general despairers.

Precisely reading will have been drained by this week you never know that old saying after the lord mayors show aha. Would be funny if it turned out us and west ham went up after all not likely but you just never know with football as today has shown.
