That is what I´m worried about. Only in the championship could a team lead the way practically all season and end up ****ing up when it counts...or that might just be Saints.

Yes, but a win and a West Ham loss, and - we just need a point to secure it! Win on Tuesday, and the pressure is right back on West Ham. Surely it's not so far-fetched that Southampton can win a game under pressure? We've done it all season, and it's not like the pressure is down to GD just yet. It's still in our hands.

I think at this stage of the season, staggered kick-off games should be banned, particularly involving teams in season-changing situations - gives unfair advantage, although I suppose it can go either way, depending on the team who plays first's result.

I'm going to Nottarf Krap on Tuesday so I'm happy that their agony has been prolonged for a little longer as I get to see their life cord get cut LIVE!

The form book no longer exists, for three games only. Is actually no real point coming on here, trying to predict scores etc. It all means nothing.

I've toyed for the last month with doing the old-fashioned check the score at full-time and that's it. Not done it, but may do on Tuesday.

Forget a West Ham loss. Control the controllables. We needed two wins and a draw from the remaining games before the reading game, we still do. On our form it's a big ask.

Ok, I think people are entitled to have a negative opinion and express it on a discussion board and those of us who are positive shouldn't rage against them but think about this.
If you feel that we have thrown away any chance of going up as Champions now and that West Ham are likely to catch us, do bear in mind that it is mathematically much easier for us to catch Reading than for West Ham to overtake us. Ah, but our form has gone hasn't it? If you think that then have a look at the highlights of the game on player. I doubt we will miss as many chances again this season! UTS!

Good point Channonfodder...after all we still have that useful GD against Reading and the latter have lost their GD advantage over WHU. Could still be any of the 3, though advantage is with Reading and, to a lesser extent, with us.

Exactly! Everyone is just presuming reading are the new gods of football and will win all of their remaining games. Theyve been flying and put in a huge shift but its easy to get up for a top of the table clash they may well suffer from the after the lord mayors show syndrome. This is very much still a three horse race.
