Stickies who decides

Can anyone tell me how long a post with a sticky stays at the top of the page? Some have very bad reply to view ratios

Some do not seem to be viewed in a good while never mind replied to.

On the ball Syd. Any one here at a Norwich Sunderland FA Cup game at Carrow Road roundabout 1961? That was the first time I heard the home crowd shouting in a very dignified way: "On the ball, City." Charlie scored with a thundering header- one nil to the lads. I think that was the season we beat Arsenal at Roker in the 3rd round (surging Anderson run and shot for the second in a two one win, beat Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield, won at Norwich then met Spurs at Roker. Now that was an atmosphere!
