Is it just me or is it a bit odd watching Barca struggling a bit against a side that's very similar to the one that we put out last season in the quarters?

Is the BBC live feed running a competition for who can say it's "game over" first? That's all anyone ever seems to Tweet or text in this season.

i hope chelsea gt through...i do think they will be focused very highly on the semi final against Barca in the hope of getting a corner or something.

Bayern v Real Madrid will be an interesting semi final. I think Real would sooner have drawn Barca- I think they are a better side than them this season.

I don't think Mourinho's ever beaten Barcelona over two legs has he? I think he'd fancy his chances of beating Barca more in a one off game like the final and would prefer to try and outsmart a new threat in Bayern over 2 games instead too.

Has with Inter, but not Real

I totally agree hbic that was one of the worst spectacles masquerading as a football match ever seen, but that doesn't put me off him. I think he is more than aware of the criticism that approach has got and is going about it the right way with RM, probably to try and prove people wrong knowing him. <ok>

You can't say Madrid are negative from their performances in La Liga, but you can't necessarily draw conclusions from that league. It's no more competitive than the SPL- and nobody would claim that Celtic's results suggest that they are even a half decent team.

I wish you'd support my opinion with something better than that. The standard of La Liga is irrelevant, making your analogy redundant. RM are beating the rest of it better than Barca are...Barca is still the yardstick. :)

explain this to me someone....having seen Ramires put his hand across a Benfica player's chin/neck/chest and the Benfica player falls holding his face...somwhere near the centre circle.

why the fuk would the Benfica player do that to get a free kick when he could have fought for the ball and carried on playing....how the is that of any advantage to him? how is it a free kick in a dangerous position..when had he fought for the ball and won it it would have been more dangerous for Chelsea.

are they bred to behave like pusssies? are footballers the most embarrasing version of a 'man'? why just fall over for the sake of it.

i hate footballers..they have no shame...pen to chelsea...good i want em through

Chelsea tonight didn't exactly strike fear into me ahead of our semi-final!

Have to agree - but the bottom line is that they are in the CL semi final having had what can only be described as a bad year with an aging team.
