Who do you think will win it this year?

I'm thinking Tiger might come back with a vengeance this year and have as a I'm back win, after his win at Bay Hill the other week he'll be coming into this confident.

Also does anyone else think the beeb is losing all it's decent sport by tightening the purse strings? We now only get the last two days of play live. F1 now golf.

I'm having a decent e/w on Adam Scott and a bit from the heart on Angel Cabrera.

Love the masters. It's the best major by a long chalk and as much as I can't abide a lot of yeehah ****ydoodle dandy behaviour they do whip up a great atmosphere. apart from the "get in the whole" nonsense at the tee on a par5.

I've put a tenner on Bubba Watson at 40's.
A fiver on Stricker at 50's and a fiver on Rose at 25's.

Woods is 4-1, he could well win it but at those odds he can do one.

I think it will be an American who wins and if Watson gets on his game he'll have a chance.
    Hence my cheeky tenner.

You can get 11/2 out there against Woods - but even that is far from great value.

Rose (best price 33/1) and Jason Day (40/1) look tempting to me. As does Webb Simpson at 70/1.

Course suits Mcllroy down to the ground, after last years failure in the final round he will come back stronger.

Rory has a chance, has grown up a lot after last years awful final round and the previous rounds shows he can handle the course, I reckon he's on for a top 3 finish. Would be good to see either Donald or Westwood do well but cant see it. Tiger should be there or thereabouts but I like nfuno1's shout of Bubba Watson been playing well recently and well worth a bet.

Difficult to look beyond McIlroy, Woods, Donald and Mickelson in terms of course, distance and form but then the same was supposed to be the case last year when an unknown Sooth Afreekaaan to the green jacket.

Might have a couple of pence on Westwood, he's been close so many times, maybe it's his turn.

    Hunter Mahan playing well

Watson you either get something approaching genius or hacker depending on the day - not consitent enough

McIlroy fav for me but if Tiger's on song can he handle it?

that's what the golfing world wants to see..

I'm hoping Watson finds some consistency and it could be happy days.

You get my PM about Jim Byron?

I've backed Woods before at 11/2 odds when he won the Open so tempted to have a pop at that, he is well worth a shot, on the other hand Mcilroy could storm this after last year because he got the monkey off his back straight away by bagging his first Major, unfortunately I can't have a bet on this because have invested my money in playing poker, will be gutted if either wins!

I wouldn't compare Woods now to Woods at his best, despite his recent win. I'm yet to be convinced that he's back to his best form.

Schwartzel has always impressed me - he has a fantastic swing. I'm wary of backing him because as defending champion he'll have a lot of media duties and distractions, but I still think he's a cracking player.

Graeme Mcdowell 70/1. Not followed golf for awhile, apart from for fashion tips obviously. But was thinking of Mcdowell, went on the betting board and someone said on there he is hitting a bit of form. That'll do me.

I would agree Woods isn't as good as he was but he has improved areas of his game that were always lacking, his driving in particular, now he's changed his swing has been hitting a better fairway ratio. The thing with Woods is as well he has it in him to beat anyone out there if he can perform well, confidence is a massive factor which after his win will be on the up.

McDowell doesn't strike me as an Augusta-type player - he hits the ball low and straight, and a long, high hitter tends to fare better there. He's only made one cut in four attempts there (17th three years ago).

I got a free £10 on skybet, not great odds at all but thought I'd back him, 9/2 I got on him to win.

Am so tempted to back him and Mcilroy it's untrue, there will be so many golfers in the field but none of them come close to these two and I think as long as Woods feels he can play on with his knees then he can win whatever tournament he's in. Think I'm going to have a go each-way.

Stick a couple of quid on Watson, it's a bet for nowt at those odds.
After a lengthy debate on a decent outsider my mate stuck £400 on him each way, that's the main reason I had a crafty tenner, which I can afford to lose. £400 is another matter.
If he wins and I'd fancied him as an outsider and not had a punt I'd be gutted.

He is either spectacularly brilliant or just as equally bad.

If he can string four good days together who knows?

400 each way! Hope he put it on the right Watson! I just have a feeling one of the two I said will punish me for playing poker instead of sports betting this week, saying that am up on the poker anyway- can't complain really!
