Pirelli have chosen the tires for the next three races:

Bahrain - Soft - Medium
Spain - Soft - Hard
Monaco - Super-soft - Soft

The reasoning behind the decision:

Pirelli said:
The tyre choice for Bahrain takes into account the hot temperatures and medium-grip characteristics of the Middle Eastern circuit. The hard tyre will be seen in Spain to cope with the high lateral loads that the tyres have to deal with at the Circuit de Catalunya, coupled with the soft tyre in order to enhance the opportunities for different strategies. Monte Carlo is the slowest and most twisty circuit of the year, so the supersoft makes its debut to maximise the grip available over the course of this short lap.

Seem's fair enough to me, wonder if the Soft-Hard selection for Spain will bring in any interesting strategies, or whether it'll just be a game of avoiding the hards at all costs.

Between them they're becoming quite a twit-hit I think.

Samuel Travieso: I’d like to know why you changed your mind after ten years: Twitter, Facebook…
FA: In recent months, there was a lot of confusion, completely unnecessary, regarding where I was and with whom and why. Everyone felt free to talk about it, even if it was not true and that was confusing for you fans who follow my career. On top of that, I think it is a fun way to use social networking. It is my point of view of what I see on my travels and when I’m training and anyone who is interested can read it. It’s also true that Raquel del Rosario tried for a long time to convince me to take this step: she knows how demanding and professional is the life of a driver and how little it is understood.”

Sometimes you let the emotion show and I don't think someone should be ashamed about that. It is true that I was disappointed. But just shortly after the race I behaved like I felt. I think this is more honest than to be smiling, when you don't feel like smiling.

Pleased he came out and said something like that rather than the usual PR crap about how the incident "was regrettable" and all the other ****e people come out with. <ok>
