Both George Boyd and Paul Taylor have rejected new deals at Peterborough. Taylor is on a free transfer in the summer and Boyd is set to be transer listed in the summer despite having a year left on his contract as their chairman doesn't like the fact he doesn't want a new deal. It's just common sense that Barmby should go for at least 1 of them if not both. Taylor would be a cracking signing for nothing and Boyd would cost about 1 to 1.5 million, Boyd can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger, depending if Koren leaves or doesn't he can play in the hole or on the wing.

Grant McCann is a good midfielder, but he's there captain and I think he is quite loyal, he rejected a move to Southampton in january after Posh accepted a bid.

Boyd is the kind of player we need more of. However it's the money that will make it unlikely. I can't see us going for anyone proven like this I'm afraid. We never do.

I'd be more worried about his hair than his transfer fee, whilst he looks like that he's a no go.
Not sure but he will be in demand and I can't see us being the most attractive option to him.
