We have become the only side this season to have taken a point away from the Man City fortress, and there have been a number of posters being critical of our manager and team today!!!What the heck do some people want??We have been very unlucky not to have won today, and it is disappointing, but, hey, being disappointed to be the only side to have taken any points from a game away to Man City is a bit strange. We were all disappointed with the display and result against Everton, but, today the lads bounced back brilliantly, and we should have won. But,come on lads and lasses, get behind our team for the rest of the season, and let's have a great finish to the season.Bring on the Spurs etc.and let's climb up the league table.
I dont regard those people as real fans to be honest. We've just taken 4 points off City and theres still morons complaining? Get real nob jockeys!!!
Whose complaining about the manager and the players? I havn't seen any complaints... I'm sure a few fans are upset that we didn't hold on to beat City but as far as I can see everybody thoroughly appreciates a helluva game, performance and a well earned result.
Theys a comment or 2 on a thread I wrote earlier. One poster even had the audacity to call us pathetic!!
All I have seen is mr negative monty, who is usually like that have a go, everyone else has been fine with it.
Im not just talking about Sunderland fans on here. Ive got a few fickle Sunderland supporting mates aswell. Monty should be ashamed of himself!
TBH I think its a fantastic ign of how far we have come, 3 goals and a point and we are disappointed because we really did deserve to win, how good is that.
About as good as it can be... 15 teams before us have all lost at the Etihad. I'm a very proud Sunderland fan tonight. The future is looking very very promising.
syd and the black cats, you are both so right,we have a great future to look forward to,as Sunderland fans.I am so proud of the Manager and team today, and can't wait to watch football first!
Watched the game today on a dodgy internet stream and thought Sunderland put on a cracking display. It wasn't just 11 men behind the ball either. Apart from the last few minutes, Sunderland were far better than City going forward.
