Not what you said at all - as I have demonstrated. No way no how does anyone use the language you did to disagree with one point. It's forever with you unless you graciously admit you were talking ****. Now answer my question. Was Graham also taking **** when he said we were in crisis? It's a comment of mine that you called **** and have repeated countless times, so either you think he was talking **** on this one too, or you have been coughing up **** over and over again for months. Which is it???
Arguing is one of those things most people do but few people do well. Many do not understand what a logical argument even is or how to do it correctly. Yet arguing is an essential skill of critical thinking. How we argue reflects how we think, how we evaluate our own conclusions, and how we challenge the beliefs of others. Even the very purpose of arguing is often misunderstood. I have arguments almost every day. This does not mean I verbally fight with others on a daily basis, but rather I have discussions that involve either attempting to convince another of a specific conclusion, or resolving different conclusions on a factual matter. In most of the arguments that I find myself the other person has staked out a position and they defend it jealously, as if they were a high-paid lawyer defending a client. This adversarial approach, however, is not constructive. Rather, the parties of an argument should be trying to find common ground, and then proceed carefully from that common ground to resolve any differences. The point of these forums is to discuss Football. Lets not start ****ting on every thread because you and Jayram have problem with PISKIE.
You pinned it on yourself Piskie - wear it proudly or run away with you tail firmly between your legs.
Jayram, are you deliberately being stupid ? I've already said that I don't agree with we were in a crisis. Portsmouth, Darlington and Rangers are in a crisis - Arsenal are not. The reason why not ? Because we demonstrated that we had the solutions within our team to turn our season around. BTW those solutions didn't turn out to be sacking the manager or selling our best players
So Graham was talking **** there too. Strange how anything an ex player or manager says that is in disagreement with you is talking ****, but when one agrees with you they are the oracle on the subject proving you right. That is pathetic in the extreme.
For one last time just for you Jayram (because you seem to be having trouble understanding) I've never said that an ex player or manager that I disagree with is talking ****, I said that GG was wrong to say we should 'let walcott go'. Also I've never said that anyone who agrees with me is an 'Oracle' I said that I believe that Keown and Henry know more about Arsenal than you. Anyway - That will do from me. I think this has run it course and having to repeat myself to you is boring me now
Not me who said i know more than an ex manager with 7 major trophies to his name. What was that about making a fool of oneself
Right I think we've established that you guys are never going to agree. Can we end this here? I'll take no more comments as a YES !
So, back to the OP. Does anyone believe that we will win every game until the end of the season? I'm standing by my assertion that we will go the rest of the season unbeaten
Guaranteed 4th and would leave Spurs needing to win 6 and draw 2 to get level on points. I have a feeling Chelsea are going to win the CL, so we need 3rd.
That would do it. I just hope we end well because next year I want us to challenge for top honours - and believe that a strong finish and 3rd would keep RVP and others plus attract 1 or 2 big names. Desperate for us to be up there looking down at the scrap for 4th as opposed to being in it. It feels like a relegation battle this year - and is almost as serious for us as relegation would be for say Wigan if we don't make the CL.
Chelsea's CL progress is a double edged sword for us. The longer they are in it, the more resources they will allocate to trying to win it, which could work in our favour in the league. If they do win it though, it will make our job in the league that much harder.
