Right when Nicola and Markus took over they set out a 5 year plan and said they wanted to be in the premier league. As we are ahead of schedule in 5 years from now where do you want the club to be? Where do you think Nicola wants the club to be?

I would like to be finishing mid table in the premier league but i think that Nicola would like us to be pushing for the europa league places so a top half finish.

    Champions League. Simple.
What is the purpose in aiming for the one Europa League spot that comes with hardly any increased financial revenue.

Our club chairman, manager and players are ambitious. We have to target top 4.

Not saying we will get there, that is a different matter entirely and largely dependant on the backing we receive.

I think I would like us to finish a good 8th or 7th place pushing on for Europe following season

Wasn't there a 12-year plan to get to the top four? That will be an enormous task, but who's to say Cortese and Adkins can't achieve it? Look how far we've come already!

I'd be happy with safe mid-table, established in the premier league though, anything else would be a bonus.

Hmm, that's very nice. I'd like the Barcelona fans to sing "who are ya..?", in Spanish, of course. Just before we show them how to play football, Southampton style, and running out comfortable winners. Wouldn't that be good..? :D

Everyone thinks of the top four as impenetrable, but Spurs and City have both done it. The only consistent top 4 team left is United, and I'm sure that will remain the case until Fergie's gone because he is a football god. After he's gone, the title could well be up for grabs like it was in the 80s.

With the money the owners have thrown at the club it's hard to imagine anything else than top 4 success though isn't it? Tottenham however have truly shown the effects of a great team working together. Compare them to Liverpool's spending spree who are only a couple points from the bottom half of the table and worst home record since god knows when and it is easy to see the extent of their achievement.

With the money City have, they should actually have done a lot better I think. However, their lack of balance and togetherness will probably be their downfall.

If the Nou Camp doesn't ring out to "We're just a poor man's Southampton" in five years time I will be very disappointed. NA and NC out etc.

I will settle for us comfortably established in the premiership, with a good proportion of the squad products of our academy. The real plus point is that I wil be 60, and hopefully will get a much reduced season ticket price! happy days!

I would like to be a team like Stoke at the moment. Never look like going down and are very tough to beat at home.

I beg to differ, he's made mistakes (notably with the Tevez affair) but he's a hell of a man manager, with all those egos in the dressing room getting them all to play in the same direction is some feat!
