I am disappointed to hear Bostock didn't look too keen yesterday. I didn't see any of the game as I was at the NextGen final, so am I only going on what has been said on here. I take a very keen interest in this lad as I believe there is a real talent in there and it's seasy to forget he's only just turned 20. Hopefully Di Canio will knock any rough edges of the lad and he will respond in a positive manner and get back to doing what he does best, playing football every week.
As for Falque, the reason we signed him is because he does actually look a decent player. For sure, his time at Southampton seems to have been wasted, but they have been winning every week and are hardly going to change a winning side to accommodate an untried and untested youngster are they ?? I suppose the correct course of action would have been to haul him back to Spurs and get him out somewhere else if he wasn't going to get picked.
We've pulled Dean Parrett back this morning from Yeovil because they aren't picking him, so it's puzzling why we haven't with Falque, but don't let's write him off just yet as he has looked ok when he's featured for us.
