Told you 'totsfan'!! I said after we mauled you 5-2 that that would be the start of a bad run for Spurs because you dont have the required fighters in your team. We should know afterall, Adebayor and Gallas used to play for an Arsenal side that completely bottled the title. Neither of them are the type of players you want when the going gets tough. In fact in that Arsenal team Gallas and Adebayor were possibly the worst culprits. (and aside from Parker I dont see anyone else that excels when the going gets tough) I'm not here to WUM (just gloat a little) and point out the fact that despite having a very good side you dont have the character in your team to truely challenge.
yeah we have only dropped 9 points on our travels this season (1 loss and 3 draws) city have had 4 defeats and a few draws
Our point against the Chavs at Stamford Bridge was a good result for us, in a game that I'm sure you Gooners were expecting us to lose. We've had bad luck in our games against United, Everton and Stoke, where we had something like 60 shots on goal, all together. That is not a team that lacks fight, quite the opposite, in fact. We now have 9 games that we would be expected to win, whereas you have two games (£ity and Chavs) that most neutrals would expect you to lose, with the remaining games that you could easily draw. You are only 3 points ahead of us. If I were you, I'd save my gloating till the end of the season, pal
Motty came up with an interesting fact commentating on your game yesterday. It was the first time Two English players had scored in the same game for Arsenal since 1997! I wonder why that is? Long time 15 years!!
Just because their season's over and they can't win a trophy they seem to think that the season is actually finished.
No offence, but I don't think that you were ever on it, QWOP! I think that's more to do with our expected rivals for the season, rather than any comment on Newcastle's quality, though. Win today and you're level with Chelsea. Everyone keeps saying that you're going to drop away, but it still hasn't happened.
