I know it won't happen but I'd like to see:

    Mannone
    Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dawson
    McKenna Evans
    Cairney
    Brady King Stewart

Slightly different set up to how we have been with the front three inter-changing when we have the ball but the two wide men dropping deeper to help the full backs when we haven't. Cairney to play ahead of McKenna and Evans but again inter-changeable. This system would work the same with Koren when fit and would be easy to tinker with for home/away and depending on opposition.

Just a thought but I think King is definitely worth a go down the middle and what a front three with pace that would make!

No. Koren hopes he'll be out for ten days, Barmby suspects it's more likely to be a month, but nothing official yet.

Get your boots back on Nick with Koren out we need someone who can play a telling pass to split a defence.

I'm not sure Brady has the consistency to play the Koren role for any lengthy period or series of games, we may be safer with Cairney and let King ,Brady and Stewart share the
wider "impact" speed roles. Though I would prefer the 4-4-2 approach.

Well IF Koren is out for a month it opens up another match day spot. Who will grab it though ? IMO, Olifinjana should get the nod. We need his experience if only off the bench for the final 20 mins or so.

With Robbie Koren out, due to possible hamstring problem, Nick Barmby has a chance to show his managerial ability.

Does he play Brady in the hole? Or Tom Cairney? Or even Jay Simpson?

Do the Tigers line up 4-4-2?

How do you see it going?

I'd go Brady in the hole...with King up front. Looks the most likely to score of any of our strikers and we need his pace.

I understand it's now been confirmed at 3-4 weeks, so someone better make the step up.

its got to be brady, the formation we play you need the guy in that role to get his arse in the box as well as provide, i dont think cairney would rush to cross the road if a lorry was coming at him...

i agree with the posters who say

    king-brady-stewart
    mclean

seems risky not playing your other top scorer either, but theres a look of real dangerous pace in that front 4 whos movement and interchanging could cause real problems

Oilyvagina could play in that role with no need to change formation or any other personnel - trouble is he doesn't look match fit and was awful in his last outing.

that would be the good thing about picking those 4, you could have it in almost any set up and they could constantly swap about....

Tom Cairney , give the lad a chance to shine

Somebody tell the wingers they need to move about and look for the ball though , so he actually has somebody to pass to

Got to agree with the Cairney shouts, give him a proper chance while Koren is out and lets see how he does.

    Mannone GK
    Rosenoir RB
    Chester CB
    Hobbs CB
    dawson LB
    Stewart LM
    Cairney CM
    Mc Kenna CM
    King RM
    Simpson CAM
    Mc Lean ST

I think Simpson played well in that position against Ipswich (FA Cup ) and set up Stewart's goal.

i think this is fantastic opportunity for me to prove that Koren is one of the reasons why we've struggled.
