Are Liverpool and KK being selfish insisting on not playing on the anniversary of Hillsborough this time?

United play on the Munich anniversary.

It is a bit insensitive with the Muamba thing going on too.

And:

1. It could affect a fixture pile-up for Bolton, fighting relegation, at a particularly sensitive time
2. Chelsea could be in a CL semi the Tuesday after

Maybe KK should have kept quiet at least until Bolton-Spurs was resolved? And seen the bigger picture for once

Playing on the Tuesday would mean we'd want the game on Sat as they do so the FA will have a very interesting decision to make. They can always resign from it if they feel that strongly.

I'm pretty sure UEFA has rules regarding teams playing before CL games so we might not be 'allowed' to play on the Sunday anyway.
UEFA may have to let us play Wed if the FA insist we play Sunday.

But as you say, clubs like Bradford and ManU play on the anniversaries of tragedies with out all this fuss.Just another example of the Liverpool victim syndrome.

Reluctant to let this thread stay up to be honest, a touchy subject and some Scousers may get the wrong end of the stick.

Keep it clean boys <ok>

Show you?

Would me taking you to my local pub be proof for you?
Do I show you conversations/emails to mates about it be proof to you?

Drog
It's on the Chelsea board so if they have a problem they can **** right off...and had the moron read the thread correctly he'd have seen that it isn't a problem because the dates don't ****ing clash anyway.
It is still odd though that it's only a tragedy involving scourers that causes a problem.

I know it's on the Chelsea board but that won't stop people (like Shogun) from commenting on it. Like I said, Liverpool fans could take this the wrong way, wasn't really anything to do with Everton fans.

What's to take the wrong way?

It is just being queried why Liverpool think they should be treated differently.
Bradford City don't complain about playing on the anniversary of the fire.Indeed they have in the past made a remarkable day of remembrance out of it.
