just back from the game - we were pretty bad but who cares, this team never gives up. amazing support, there were grown men hugging complete strangers when the 2nd peno went it
Don't know if this has been posted elesewhere http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/9597780.Adkins_reveals_dug_out_drama_at_Millwall/
i wasn't at the game so i didn't see it until i saw the replay but like they said on the radio, you wouldn't of seen him doing that last year. he's been my favourite player for the last few seasons because he made passing look easy but he drifted out of games and this season he's been significantly better, even got a couple of goals!
I've just flicked over to BBC1, and they were playing Queen "We are the Champions" over the end credits of the rugby. What I would give to hear that played at St Marys after the Coventry game.
Just back from the game, still buzzing. We deserved to lose today based on performance... Chaplow and Richardson particularly poor, Lallana had an off day, Steve looked dangerous when he came on and Rickie needs to be knighted. Richardson and Fox's long ball tactic made me want to cry at times but with the result as it was who cares?! On the penalties, first looked to me like a definite penalty but I didn't see what happened for the second...
Just got back, we were held back at the end but I didn't give a damn, we were winding up the Millwall fans, and one in particular took it badly. He was gesturing to come outside the ground and take him on! I have never celebrated a goal as much as Rickie's winner. You just can't help thinking this is not a good time to Rickie to miss his first pen for Saints
I grabbed the guy next me and hugged him, being 6ft 4 I lifted him off his feet. Think he was a little scared.
So glad i decided to go to the game. Amazing atmosphere and the best game this season. Guly and morgan were our best players. Some idiot next to me decided to leave after 70 minutes so imagine how gutted he must feel now!
On gallery on OS, clear pictures of their hand ball. Jos's hand goes up, then falls away and their player handballs it before another defender could head it away. Rush of blood to the head.
