You could set your watch by his timely articles but I couldn't care less what he writes as I just don't read it.
There's worse things going on than songs being sung in Scotland buut they're too difficult to point the finger at so they just get ignored.

<laugh> I love to hate the Scottish football media. I honestly don't think there is one person among them with **** all interesting to say. Just a long-line of tired ****s spewing the same stuff about Celtic and Rangers year upon year.

Pretty sad when the only person with anything to do with Scottish Football that actually is likable/interesting is an Englishman in Ian Crocker. I don't mind the ****, he's fairly impartial and knows his **** when it comes to SPL players.

I use to like Crocker in his Sky days he was commentating on the latter part of the 9 in a row years. Although if that **** goes on about Sasa Papac being the only surviving signing from the Le Guen era <grr> I think it must be written in his contract that he has to say it every Rangers game he comments on <laugh>
 
See, I don't sing the songs because it leaves people like Rhebel nusrsing a stonking hard on.

I don't want to give morale guardians like Speirs the ammo to attack the club and its fans.

Personally, I am adult enough to know that if it wasn't songs about religion, it would be people singing about how much of a dump PArkhead/Govan is.

When the Aberdeen fans sing about people from Glasgow are all tramps and eat rats, does that mean its true?

When we sing that Aberdeen fans are sheep shaggers, does that mean it's true.

Speirs wants a sterile football ground where kick off commences, and you turn round to your rival fans and say 'tally ho old bean, have a great game chaps'.

Football brings out the neanderhtal in everyone apart from Celtic fans as Rhebel bhoy will argue.

Songs are just that... songs.

Football on the continent in some places makes the OF look tame in comparison.

Italy, Greece, Turkey etc.

Sure, some songs are in bad taste, and I do hope that it changes, just to shut up Speirsey, but its funny how these things always come to the fore after a Celtic defeat.
