In my Eyes, the season, for Sunderland is over, altough i am concious of the teams below us, we have great fixtures (like Newcastle) to secure we will be in the Premier next year.

I will espect the season to peater out with 9th place to play for come the last game of the season.

I wouldnt say i have been dissapointed with the season but obviously it is painful every year to see a poor team go to Wembley and think, "why did we throw it away so early".
Obviously the 5-1 was a massive disapointment aswell but we are constantly learning and getting better.

So fast foward to June/July and who do you want to sign?

Personally i would love Nzogbia and if the reports that we had agreed a summer deal in January are true i will be over the moon. I would like to keep Muntari but if that didnt happen we would obviously look for a new Cm, Charlie Adam scored a belter of a free kick on Saturday and if we signed him we would actually anticipate a dead ball to go in the back of the net!

Turner will be like a new signing and i would like to keep Onouha.

    My question now is;

Would you like to keep Bardsley, or sign a new Left Back (i personally would be delving into the market)
    &
Which "top" striker would you like to see holding the red and white scarf outside the academy of light?
I personally have no idea but i think i would be pushing it abit if i said i think we should sign Soldado from Valencia.

Thoughts on who you would like?

Muntari came here to put himself in the shop window because no top team wanted him so he'll be gone by the summer. N'zogbia is the type of player we should be looking for when he's on form but not N'zogbia too hit and miss and bad attitude. Charlie Adam will no doubt be going to a top ten team (yes not sure we'll make top ten now after yesterday) possibly Liverpool if the papers are to be believed.
Not sure of names but I'd be happy with Nedum coming to us a good player then we need a LB, LW, CM, CF, and 2 CBs basically a whole new team.

Are you seriously contemplating replacing our Player of the Season?

2 CB's? for cover or for the actual starting 11? We need to pay off Nosworthy!

Yeah, for an actual left footed left back which gives us more width

Welder, yes mate replace Bardsley with a LB then we have Bardsley as cover for both LB and RB.
One Chance, no two new CB to replace our current pairing Mensah should be sent back not consistent enough and Bramble although started well is fading badly now. Also when Turner comes back he'll have to win his place back giving us more competition for places which in theory will make us a better team (in theory).

Look at Danny Collins, if we're going to progress our player of the season needs to be of a higher calibre than Bardo, as much as I rate the guy off the back of this season.

Crying out for a left footed left back and left footed winger.

Jamie Carragher had such an easy game on Sunday with Bardo and Steed cutting back in on their right all the time it was so flat, slow and predictable. Its not their fault though, they are playing out of position like most of our team its just so lop-sided.

In my opinion we need two full backs who contribute more in an attacking sense than we have currently (can't speak for Anglieri) while remaining sound defensively. Yesterday I never thought we seriously threatened Liverpool as our game was too pedestrian and offered nothing from wide areas. KTF

thats what i say every game and it drives me round the bend because it makes us so predictable, theres no early cross, no going to the byline, its always get to the edge of the box, cut back and do a gash cross!

Its true about the left side but how many left wingers ae thee in the premier league? i can think of Downing and Etherington n Nsomnia and thats about it. So you end up buying unproven fireigners...

We should be looking to keep Ned, we should throw money at trying to get Cahill off Bolton, N'zog or Dzudzak for the left side, and Gignac plus Wellbeck up front.

Left back is a ****ing nightmare though.
