I voted for Holt because not only is he great, I love his persona and he is a great captain and fighter. Although I sort have changed my mind now to Huckerby haha you cant change your vote though

    Grant Holt, scummy ****ing ****er.

He's just put our best player our of action for the rest of the season.

I wish a slow and painful death upon his first born child.

    Talentless ****.

Out of the choices I have gone for Grant Holt but we had had better in the past.

Robert Fleck, Ted MacDougall, Phil Boyer instantly come to mind from the players I have seen over the years.

Hardly the type of response we would expect from a moderator, I spent many years in Hull, driving the ASDA free bus, and I found the people to be very friendly! I hope, when you've had time to reflect, you may find your comments rather harsh, it's not usual for a talentless player to be short-listed for player of the season by the Football League!

The first born child comment is in extremely poor taste, I personally find that quite sick and offensive.

Holt can be inflammatory to other fans but he seems a decent bloke and we LOVE him because of his charisma and goal record. Certainly not talentless. Will easily go down as a legend at the club if he shoots us back into the top flight.

I think Grant Holt has an exceptional talent for being right place, right time to score goals. Wishing death on his first child is really quite silly, it's football, if a forward scores lots of goals then he may make himself unpopular with other clubs, but really I don't see your problem with the man.

A perfect example of why, when emotions are running high, we should write our comment, save it, read it later then think again.

We have probably all done things we regret and used words that may not be apt.

This Hull idiot is doing his club a major disservice, you really shouldn t joke about peoples children and his remark crossed the line . I doubt he would have the balls to actually say that to Mr Holt to his face, its much easier to do it in an anonymous forum like this. This comment has ruined a sensible thread and stoked up hostility towards him and the team he moderates. What a complete LOSER.

Dave, Who moderates the moderators ?

That comment was rather over the top wasn't it, to be honest, I don't even remember posting it, I really should avoid coming on here when I've had a few.

Apologies anyway, I don't really wish anything bad to happen to him, in fact, I'd be rather happy of he was playing for us. <ok>
