About Steven Naismith and Whittaker taking wage cuts in favour of helping the other players.

Thoughts? if when i wake up it turns out to be true I'm grateful naismith has shown some loyalty and slightly grateful to whittaker.

Both players have been sitting on their arses for months picking up £20k per week. Now they're heroes for having to get by on a paltry £5k per week. Makes your heart swell.

If Naismith is seriously injured, then don't the insurers tend to pick up a potion of wages? There is usually provision in place for this I thought?

Whittaker is as culpable as Whyte in putting you in this mess, he cost you a fortune by being a **** in European games.

true but was it a blessing in disguise? If we had made champs league, whyte would of went unnoticed for longer and caused more damage. at least now everyone knows what he is.

whittaker should have been shot for that incident. what a ****. Still hate him for that

There's what, a 28 first team squad earning an average of about 10k each (that's probably being generous). If they all took a 75% cut that would save £840k per month.

If it's on a decreasing scale from 75% - 50% - 25% then obviously the savings are going to a lot less than that.

Lets's all have a party , our top players are reducing their wages by 75% for THREE months , it's a sad day when that make a football fan happy , meanwhile Celtic march on to the treble
