While it's a **** of a thing to have to do, I don't understand McCoist's reluctance to get involved. Surely, as manager, it's his responsibility to ensure that we have the best possible squad with the resources at our disposal.

From someone who happily supported a club that had a decades long policy of not signing people due to their religion this did raise a smile.
Murray WAS the club, and whilst I agree that the fans don't deserve to be punished for his misdemeanours/crimes, I don't see how you can punish the club without the fans being upset in the process.
