They don't, but they can gub them. This is all very weird the way it's being played out. I can't see past them having liquidation as their endgame.
I like to spell things out for the.........."slower" members of the forum. You and Hoops for example.
Not sure how true this is but I've just read that the administrators are raking in over £100,000 per week from Rangers. If that's true then so far they have actually cost the club far more money than they have saved since they took over three weeks ago. It's no wonder they're taking their time.
I guess if they make players redundant today they would have to pay them redundancy. However if they were to be liquidated before the players wages are paid again then the players would have less access to money. Therefore it doesnt really make any sence to make them redundant now?
Can't see how that can be the case. They can't say your sacked from your £2k a week yet lafferty there who is injured a lot can stay and get £15k a week. Wouldn't be allowed I'd I'd imagine. They both have contracts. There will be some payment or entitlement
Not under administration, I don't think the contracts are worth the paper they are written on anymore. It's just a pat on the back, a thankyou and goodbye as I understand it.
that can't be true. Even under liquidation you'd have a claim v the company. Chances you'd get all or any of what you are entitled might be slim as they'll be at the back of a very long line of people waiting on money from a company with **** all money
That's the bit I don't understand anaw. They're administrators, they have the power to do pretty much whatever they want. Don't they?
I've heard from a pretty good source that the main sticking point between the administrators and the players is that the thick as **** likes of Lafferty and McCulloch are having great difficulty understanding percentages. The administrators have managed to get their attention by using bananas and peanuts, but hopes today to move on to some basic arithmetic.
Ahm clearly one of the slower members I don't understand how they can have the power to make sumby redundant but canny enforce wage cuts. Oh, employment law. Must be summat to do with that? Employment law is a ****in minefield.
Surely, it doesn't help any administrators when the general manager of the highest paid staff refuses to get involved (like a pussy). He won't deal with any sackings (cos he's a pussy) and won't get involved in the negotiations because he wants to be seen as the good guy (i.e pussy). Perhaps if you didn't have a pussy in shorts for a manager, this might've been dealt with - the administrators aren't getting any help from The Pussy and it's dragging out even longer than needed. In case my message has been diluted, McCoist is a pussy It's a time for hard-nosed decisions and everyone's rallying behind a rent-a-gob vagina of the feline variety. Still, as long as he miaows something about "enemies of Rangers" and continues to deflect attention from institutional ****ups by saying what the slavvering hordes want to hear, The Pussy (Rangers worst manager in history) will have a job until Ra Big Hoose is boarded up. I blame Mr Mestopheles
Latest: If no agreement can be reached with the players this morning, the administrators will have a redundancy list ready early afternoon. The list will focus on high earners.
I don't know if I've mentioned this but I blame Lord Miaowington of Pussyford please log in to view this image
