Afternoon

Coming off the back of yet another poor result - this time to West Brom, the main man at Chelsea has fired yet another manager, making it something like 6 managers in 9 years.

This has resulted in criticism from both opposition and Chelsea supporters.

However, looking at it from Abramovich's point of view, you can perhaps see why he is making such snap decisions.

As of April last year the Russian has reportedly spent £1 billion pounds on his project at Chelsea and with interest free loans of £740 million and Chelsea making a loss of approaching £100 million - what has he actually gained from Chelsea?

His personal aim of being Champions League winners has never been accomplished and is as far away now as it has ever been. He spends £50 million off the cuff and it produces what, 5 goals in 49 appearances?

For those who don't know, in order to increase the revenue at Chelsea and thus its valuation, winning the Champions League is essential in promoting the brand overseas. This is something that Chelsea have fallen short off and is likely a key point why AVB, and previous managers, have gone.

With the massive investment and little return wouldn't you be frustrated and thinking,"this guys is never good enough and will never get us the Champions League which is essential?" "It's my money, my clubs and I'll do I want".

You cannot blame him really with 3 wins in twelve, as good as out of the Champions League, and reports of player and fan unrest.

He wants instant returns, and that is to be expected from a man who has invested so much.

What do you think?

Sorry Bow only joking. I think Roman is the cause of all this. Should not of sacked Maureen in the first place, but Stamford bridge was not big enough for both there ego's. The club needs a period of stabilty, the next manager should be a strong chracter who has a proven record. The player power issue must be dealt with, and more money must be spent to rejuvinate an ageing team.

It is important for Chelsea that the next appointment is the right one, and that man must be given time.

Surely we can make light hearted banter. I mean it's not as if anything offensive was said.

Missing the point of the article completely.

not really, Just replying to the ****y provocative comment about the no Issstttoooorrrriiiiiieeeeeeeeeee bollox! All they had to go on was Issstttoooorrrriiiiiieeeeeeeeeee then one poxy Carling cup and that's his signature - BRILLIANT!

Had the senior players also got something to do with this, look at what happened France with Zidane n co running the dressing room. That affects results > results get managers sacked.

He would have a hell of a team if Gene Hackman had stayed on until now, I don't doubt that. Carlo would also be further along had he stayed. In both cases Chelsea I reckon would be far better off and maybe challenging for top spot so I have to be of the opinion Roman is wrecking the club by turning it into a magerial revolving door

Exactly my point! - Issstttoooorrrriiiiiieeeeeeeeeee YAAWWWWNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well take away the wumming and there is nothing left to say. Chelsea sack another manager. What a shock.

Players cost AVB his job. Ca$hley, Fat Frank, Terry etc all trouble makers with a big ego. Would kick them out quicker than they could earn thier next million. The next manager will need to be a strong character to sort the mess out. Good luck with it.

I'd bring back Jose and throw a pot of money and revamp the team, clearing out the old.

This has to be done soon as fair play rules come in in 2013.
