Yesterday is gone. Don't believe for a second it marks the end of our good form.

Newcastle are struggling mightily (IMHO) and we are the last team they want to see at Sid James next week. Tailspin on the way, courtesy of MON and the lads.

The squad will rally around MON knowing the stick Bruce took for recent derby results. Not for him they'll say. Those days are done, those days are gone.

It may not be pretty, but Sunderland WILL get a result. It's in the cards, it's in the stars.

2-1, you heard it here first!

2-0 would be better, just to lower the heart rate last couple of minutes

We were due a kicking, I suppose, but we were very poor TBH. I thought we should have had a couple, but WBA could have had six or seven, so 4-0 was about right.

No doubt Sid, but it'll provide extra impetus for next week. Nothing worth having comes easy, WBA was just a less than subtle reminder!

I was just glad Catts didn't pick up his 10th yellow and get banned for the derby!

It was the 5-1 (yes, I'm sorry to mention it) that sparked off our incredible part of the season until Bent left, that was when we beat Chelsea etc. It was just the kick up the arse we needed, maybe we'll play even better against the mags...

    That's the spirit!

And, you happen to be exactly right!

Jersey, we were opponents this week in the head to head fantasy league. How are the term papers coming?

I don't have any more exams till the summer, but I've just finished two philosophy essays, and I've got mocks coming up. It'll all be over in a couple of months!

Go on Jersey, that's the way bonny lad.

I'm just getting back to graft & have a new engineering course to do. Hydraulics & pneumatics. Lots of practical & even more written.

    Still learning at my age.

You talk about your form under MON all you want, ours isn't so much different. Since your saviour arrived you have taken a grand total of 2 points out if the advantage we had over you. Form however, counts for nothing in a derby.

Very scientific in your thinking there Jarra.

    Two points:

    1) you admit our form is better than yours (by 2 points at least)

    2) you agree we have a Saviour
