The temp England manager has picked Walcot in the sqaud? this man (not a boy) plays one half decent game every six games and cannot claim a secure position in a failing gooners side

His final delivery has quality but again only every six weeks, his ability to help the back four is non existant, he cannot dribble or create attacking space with intelligent movement for crying out loud what am I missing

If Walcot is precious it is in his own mind

The second "t" in his surname.

Some of the papers are cottoning onto the fact that, in six years, he's gone from English Youngster That's A Bit Quick to English Player That's A Bit Quick, with little else to his game or his overall development as a player.

I think not. If Walcott had half the presence of Lee Marvin we would have a world class English player on our hands.

I have had much more mileage out of Typically Tropical, than Walcott the one day wonder. If he wants a hit may I suggest a title.

Nights in Croatia
or
All I want for xmas is my two left feet.

Mind you a few of those film titles could apply to Sundays game.

The Big Heat
The Wild One (Wenger)
The Caine Mutiny (If L'arse lose)
A Life In the Balance (Wenger again)
Attack (Spurs plan)
The Raid (If Spurs win)
Ship of Fools (speaks for itself<laugh>)
Violent Saturday (Good job it's on Sunday)
The Professionals (Yep should be!)
The Dirty Dozen (Wenger and his team)
Point Blank (Adebayor's goal)
Seven Men from Now (Arsenal will have a team)
Shout at the Devil (Wenger talks to the ref)
The Big Red One (Arsenal's only goal or is it the team bus?)
The Iceman Cometh (Scott Parker - watch out)

walcott is awful. We will get rid in the summer because he is awful and has a big ego making him think he is good.

On one occasion, he managed to ally his pace to decent touch and finishing, scoring that hattrick v Croatia.

He's been living off it ever since. The hope that he can recapture that form again looks forlorn.

Football's equivalent of the "one hit wonder".

Like Joe Dolce. Or The Teletubbies. Or Lee Marvin. I was born under a wand'rin' star.

it wasnt form..it was luck

Walcott, Only a legend in his own mind

Exactly! If he was even half as good as he seems to think he is, he'd be challenging Messi for world player of the year, etc. The boy needs a serious wake up call, before he disappears completely up his own fuadamental orifice!

<laugh>

78s were before my time, I am glad to say.

I do remember 45s and LPs, though.

NEWSFLASH!!!

Players do not pick themselves for the national squad, so attacking them for being in the team is rather stupid (spuddish). If anyone is to blame it is the manager.

That is all - lesson over :)

What a load of pathetic goonerish <doh>. its called debate, this is a debating forum, and we're debating the merits of an Arsenal player. Sadly of late, most debates about arsenal tend to be unfavourable, when there's anything positive we'll let you know, till then, stop grizzling and cheer up!
