  2. Write a polite letter asking some folk at N5 to leave

Chain myself to the gates in protest

    Continue my campaign of awareness

    The latter I imagine ;)

    And you?

    Still with the silent few?

As I said earlier this morning, this team created by Wenger could draw inspiration from the one George Graham put together for that last game of the season back in May 1989. But would they and how would our manager motivate them?

Rather than write a letter, why not start a petition. I'll sign it if I agree with the points raised.

To chain yourself to the gates you'd have to make the effort to actually go to the stadium.

Argh everywhere I go on this forum people mention sheep. It's hard to come up with responses when I'm aroused.

Glad you popped your head in Wumpole, a few things for you:

    1) You ask the question how does complaining continually and writing article after article being negative help the club, , what they do is seek to identify the problems we have at Arsenal and find possible remedies. I will argue that saying all is well or being positive doesn't help the situation in a more profound way because it leads to apathy or a false sense of security - this is EXACTLY what has happened during the past few years, only now are we seeing the extent of the problem. Being positive hides the problem because it doesn't MAKE people face up to issues. This is not a small child we are talking about that needs continual encouragement, this is a business by all accounts and at some point the small child must become a man and stand on his own 2 feet.

    2) You have no idea who reads these forums, you have no idea who the members are. There could be members of the AST on here, or friends of other shareholders who learn something from these threads, that information could get passed to another or that same person could go to the next AGM and argue based on what they learned here. The chances are slim admittedly, but there is still a chance.

    3) If we only discussed things in the world we could affect or make a difference to, we would hardly talk about anything ever, but that is not the point of a forum, a forum is NOT here for you to effect (or should that be affect) change, it is there for you to discuss things and for that very reason the forum is being used EXACTLY how it should be, for discussion. The fact you don't like the content of many threads is neither here or there <ok>

  10. In terms of google, I was just educating you on how the internet worked - whats posted on here is seen by more than not606 members. I have said nothing about google vindicating my views, that's not what Google does (do you need another lesson?)

The majority of my views, which are centred around the problems we have faced for years, have been fully vindicated already by what we have seen on and off the pitch <ok>.

ok I'll make my last point on this as we are going around and around.

Jayram, you have been posting your 'views' for quite a long time now. Both on here and the original 606 before. If it is an effective force for change, why are you still unhappy with the team/manager/club after what, 2 or 3 years? Perhaps you have made a positive contribution to Arsenal's style of play and management etc. If so, I'd like to hear about it if you have either the time or inclination to share :)

  13. Lone voices dont make much difference, but eventually the truth spreads and it brings about change. Its the majority of fans that are now unhappy that will bring change, but it always takes time from the enlightened few to the angry masses demanding change. I am happy we're nearing the end of the journey. You are just one of the laggards that couldnt face the truth.

I wont spend too much time educating you on change through the history, but the following sums it up really well.

You should continue following Jamrag around like a whipped puppy and echoing everything he posts. If you start copying me too you might get confused and post something positive about AFC by mistake!!!

  20. I thought you'd made your last comment? We were already bored by you, so I was quite pleased when you said that. Now look what you've done!

By the way, I love your source for the quote - the man was hardly made of the stuff that inspires. <laugh>
