My sentiments exactly I would also add that David Dein should be brought back into the fold to support Wenger in the transfer market, with negotiations, contracts, dealing with the board, the media, PR ect and leave Wenger to be able to concentrate on purely football matters.
Moaning? - if you want to call it that. What should we call your blind acceptance of failure? Delusion?
Piskie on the left, Toledo on the right. http://www.angelfire.com/wi/blindfaith/bfportal.html Didn't know they were musicians.
Sounds like you are prepared to accept lower standards for the club. Thankfully not the view of most of us.
This is where I pop my head in and respectfully ask what it is you think you are doing to improve the standards of the club?
Eh? Another one that can't read and clearly has comprehension issues joins the fray. If you return, let me know and I will explain exactly how idiotic and inaccurate your post is.
Just pointing out that you pointing out that only whining wont get the club anywhere. Which is true. As is constantly trying to find positives among a wreckage. This forum is for DEBATE, whether a persons opinion is that Arsenal are complete and utter ****e, that they're the best thing in the universe or anything in between. And I have comprehension issues... You basically said that it's pointless people complaining about various problems because they're not doing anything about it. I cannot disagree with this, but it's the same principle as saying it's pointless people praising the club. That also gets nothing done. Oh and just for fun, seeing as I returned, could you please explain exactly how idiotic and inaccurate my post was?
I am responding to RVB's post in which he accuses most of us of not supporting the club like him and his like minded friends. I ask again, how is he helping the club by posting on not606? I am not saying he shouldn't post, simply asking what positive effect he thinks it has. Got it?
I'm pretty sure he knows it's not having any effect on the club seeing as they don't read these forums. But that's pretty obvious for most of us and I don't see how it's relevant. Correct me I'm wrong (and I may be because I don't visit that often) but has he ever said that his complaining on here is helping the club? EDIT: Oh and call me a softie if you like but I don't think calling me a cock was entirely necessary for disagreeing with the way you were getting your point across.
Clearly you do have issues. Here's how it works. The 'moaners' post thread after thread attacking various aspects of the club. The same negative stuff over and over and over again. I suggest that they should get behind the club a bit more - be supportive for a change. They come back with their usual mantra along the lines of "you are a Wenger lover who is doing nothing to improve the fortunes of our club by showing blind allegiance and accepting mediocrity" etc... So, I simply ask them to demonstrate how their posts are more helpful to the club than mine. This is when they get a little stumped and people like you join in and make up your own interpretations of the truth. I have suggested that all these hundreds of negative threads are never going to help the club as they claim. Never have I suggested people shouldn't be allowed to discuss the problems as they see them. This is backed up by the FACT that I only respond to a few of them. Regulars who only know how to slag Arsenal off. I have also never said I have blind faith in Wenger or stated that we are a problem free team or club. I am also totally for debate (not too much truth for you to handle so far I hope?). I agree. I agree. I agree. I also think I have the right to express a strong dislike of a small number of our membership who seem to take great delight in attacking our club at very regular intervals. They don't have to stop, but then I don't have to stop asiking them to either The bottom line is that I have said I am opposed to these cry babies claiming that their posts are positive and a part of any solution to AFC's problems. They are not, despite Jay_Rams claim that google bots will see his dogmatic anti Arsenal mantra vindicated Hope that's clear
I think Henry's cat had it right in the comment on the top of the page. As weary I am with the current set-up, if we really made a go of things in the transfer market then I would like to see what Wenger would do with a group of talented, hungry, experienced players. After all the last time he had that we won the league unbeaten! I get the feeling that for once we're going to have a proactive Summer.
