I was wondering which of our two new forwards will hit the six goal mark and by when? Both Sharpe and Lee are on one each would be good if they both hit six by mid March. Of course it also depends on whether they are selected to start or to come on as an impact sub. Thoughts?
I was under the impression the defender was credited with Sharp's goal? Either way, I reckon Sharp will get there first due to more appearances. He's been disappointing so far (in my opinion...) but has shown before he's a very good player and will come good for us, for sure. Lee also (despite his brilliant goal) will need to settle - it's a very different environment.
Think Nigel will stick with Sharp starting and Lee coming on as a sub...so both will get a chance. Would expect Sharpe would get 6+ goals first, but think Adkins may see Lee as someone still getting used to English football. May see more of Lee at home than away.
Blowed if I know. I didn't know exactly how to spell his name initially [E or no E], but once I read in print, I noted it. Don't some people take automatic notice of this sort of thing..? please log in to view this image
Wrote Sharp initially, then thought that I'd got it wrong last time so added an e. Criticism noted...will do better next time
Got two people at work, Clark and Clarke...if you get it wrong it's like you've killed their first-born. People get my name wrong and I don't bother unless it will cause future problems.
I regularly get my name mispronounced, never bother correcting people unless they need it for future correspondence. No need to bother with it!
Both will have an important role to play in the run-in and whoever gets the goals is incidental as the most important thing is that the team keeps winning. Chung took his opportunity well last week and may be first choice at Watford, but Billy is too good a player to warm the bench for too long.
