They had lots of people in the negotiating room if rumour be believed, all sitting on one side of the table. On the other side, in his leather chair, smoking his cigar with his golden monacle in and peacock-feathered bowler hat on, was Mr Cortese. There was only going to be one winner....
adam lallana is an Everton fan, he was born in st albans near Watford, and Bournemouth scouted him from there, His mum is from London and his dad is from Liverpool, I went to school with his cousin.
And I used to walk the family dog, so I know different..! Only kidding. Le Tiss used to be a Tottenham fan. He grew out of it. Given enough time, everyone can see sense. There's only one team worth supporting. The rest exist merely for us to play against, at some point.
Do you lot know that Adam could of died when he was younger aswell, he had heart problems and had a serious operation which could of killed him.
Lallana will be playing at Everton next season but it will be for us against them the only concern is that when we do go up and he cuts it in the prem as he will people may then start sniffing around
According to recent pundits comments, the Premier League clubs have been sniffing around. To me that was old news. They've been doing it since he played in the Championship a few seasons back. He signed a new and extended contract the last time they really started to get serious. There'll be clubs banging on Cortese's door, about Lallana, for several years I've no doubt.
You're very welcome to join in with the thinking. An example lesson is, when you turn on a radio station which is talking about football, to wonder why they are bothering having opinions about any other club, except Saints. For example, for the past few days, I have had to listen to Talksport [wasn't my radio]. There was one utterance about Saints, and it was about Nigel Adkins being wanted for another managerial job. Which club it was is unimportant. This got some merriment going amongst Hawksbee and Jacobs. It all lasted about 2 minutes. That was the only thing on Talksport that day. The rest didn't matter. Talksport often jabber on about some club called Arsenal. I don't know why.
Lambert said before that the only club he'd leave Saints for is Liverpool - He probably just plays with Tranmere on FIFA because he's a boss at it and plays with a **** team to give his opponents a chance! He's definitely NOT a blue! "The rivalry with United is something I've grown up with, so it will be an extra bit special if we beat them. Of course I am excited. I am obviously a Liverpool fan so I was a bit disappointed that Liverpool lost because we would have played them. But to get Manchester United is a brilliant, brilliant tie and at home as well. I would have loved to play at Old Trafford but to play them at home means we've got more chance of beating them. Of course Saints can win it. It's a football game. I think if it was at their ground it would be very unlikely but we've definitely got a small chance of beating them at ours." - That's from when we played MUFC in the FA Cup last season.
