He is? Quiz at half time once said he's a Tranmere fan.

I think I might know what you're on about, this question didn't ask who he supported though. Birmingham at home was it? They said "who does Rickie play as on FIFA other than Saints?"

Everyone around me seemed to think it was Liverpool, but the announcer said it was Tranmere. Wouldn't surprise me if he does support them.

Could have been a different game/question though.

'Interesting point though when we make the premier how is Adam going to feel when he plays Everton?'

I never understand how some players feel a goal scored against the team they support is a special goal...heard a few players saying this over the years and it baffles me! If I was playing against saints, my shots would, without question, consistently end up in row z! (not just for my love of saints, but also down to my lack of skill)

Lallana will be a Saints for life! <ok>

From his twitter:

@adlallana1: Was a great game to make my 150th start for the club, hopefully hundreds more to come. Would love to be a #saint4life

That was on the 19th of December this year!

the strange thing is though, no-one has shown any interest in lallana (without offering a stupid fee anyway, i think fulham offered 300.000 or so). I think 99% of saints fans would say he is better and more important to the team than theo and oxo, but he developed late- which is why he only played for england u21 the one time. he slipped under everyones radar

Ah okay, I think that must have been the question - no idea of the specific game, though!

That may have been true before, but I think he is clearly on everyone's radar now and I would be very surprised if some prem teams didn't come knocking in the summer if we don't go up...oh well, we'll just have to go up then!

I heard that Wolves offered a couple of million or so for him last summer. Don't know if that is true, but it wouldn't surprise me. Obviously, even if true, that offer went no further than Cortese's wastepaper basket!

I love the idea of Cortese receiving a lettered bid for one of our key players and just sitting there laughing, before burning it with his cigar lighter....

I liked it when he said Liverpool sent an offer for Chamberlain by fax and he put it in the shredder without looking at it because I believe he said to a newspaper: "if you can only send a fax message you obviously don't want him that much. Ring me or speak to me face to face."

Fair play to the Don. True ladotelli is that man.

I think some of you are missing a couple of little details. 1] Lallana used to watch Saints from the terraces, and 2] It's really difficult to watch Saints when you're in the bloody team. Lallana might well have a soft spot for Everton or he may have just taken up the alliegiance that a few of his teamates have. I have a soft spot for Airdrie United, but it doesn't make me a fan though. Get a little perspective, pepys.
