ohh nothing against you GrandSpurs....and KK did a fine job of explining what i was ranting about...the system is a mystery and it baffles me...that is all.
Ferguson picked a strong team because Man Utd don't have another game til the 23rd, when they play the return leg. He wanted to get the tie won, so he can rest his important players next week and keep them sharp. He also knows that they're in with a good chance of winning it at this stage and it'd be something to put in the cabinet, in case they don't win the league.
Given the track record of Russian club owners and their itchy trigger fingers, Guus will be receiving his severance package by October...
I'm begining to wonder if I'm the only one wanting to see Spurs lift the league,FA cup and Europa cup. This playing a load of reserves is begining to worry me. It doesn't look like we will catch City short of a disaster and with the return of Tevez, that could put them over the top.So would it be a good idea to put out our best team in the FA cup...at least? Ye Gods!We were on a hiding to nothing and wouldn't have been too upset if Stevenage had won.Good luck to them! Harry.Win one for me would you mate?
Players didn't seem up for it and Modric being ill was a huge loss.Think Harry got the formation wrong.Atleast we're still in it,although a draw was all we deserved. I can't believe Spurs haven't won the FA.Cup since I've lived in Spain.I even came back to the UK for 1991 final. What has happened to one of the best cup teams since?
The main thing the Stevenage game showed was we loaned out a couple more youngsters than we probably should have. Townsend and Carroll sticking around would've meant we'd start 4-4-2 instead of playing over an hour with a bizarre formation that didn't work and had bale out of position, and had some creativity through the middle. Well, as long as Dawson didn't keep punting it long towards the flanks, anyway...
Dona go to your page and look under experience, there you will see how the points are accumulated. You can do this for all posters. In Grandspurs case he joined in FEB 2011 so has therefore scored points for being registered over that time. You also get points for other reasons. Posts, Threads, Recommendations and so on. It's all set out on the profile pages. It is not because he is the most loved poster on here.
Can we put these points towards air miles or are they worthless like Nectar or Tesco Clubcard points?
I still think Fergie will play his best team for the Europa! Man.He'd beat up on his wife to get his hands on her breakfast egg-cup!!!!!!!
Squid had another short name but it escapes me at the moment. I think Aanp's still on that Le Clique Facebook last I heard.
