The Old Firm ****ed up their own league and then failed to invest the money that they received sensibly.
No sympathy for them.

Dunfirmline's comment that they won't get the £80k gate receipts for their next trip to Ibrox by next Tuesday threatening their day-to-day running underlines the knock-on effect this has.

Whilst the Premier League is basically the SPL with a bigger advertising budget, other clubs aren't wholly reliant on the boost in ticket sales that a visit from just a couple of clubs are guaranteed to provide - instead most clubs get good attendances for pretty much every home game, with only Wigan reliant on the boost in ticket sales from a member of the Sky Four.

Landlord, We need to make a provisional booking of the function room on 6th March for the fast approaching St Wunnuffincks Day celebrations. Providing Sunderland can do the business at the weekend we will confirm the date.

Following Hymns sung by the Arsene Wenger Memorial Junior Choir, (we thought it might be a good touch and Arsene agreed), the cremation of Ar5ena1's season at the hands of Milan will be held at the Emirates Crematorium. We think that a black tie affair would be fitting. Women should wear evening wear apart from Luke's woman of course who will be wearing the traditional wellies filled with custard. Then it will be back to the Bill Nick where the party will begin.

If Chas and Dave can't make it, we're hoping that we can organise entertainment in the form of an All in Wrestling Match featuring Piskie and Jamrag, (two decent signings, a managerial resignation or a knockout to decide the winner). Two comedians (Foy and Webb) have been booked to add to the party atmosphere.

The event will be sponsored by Specsavers, which incidentally is where Wenger should have gone during the transfer window.

The Ashes of Arsenals season shall then be taken to White Hart Lane and spread in a manner to honour our lesser neighbours. (flushed down the loo actually but we wont tell them that)

Entry will be by invite only (or anyone else who wants a good laugh)

RSVP-Which is exactly what Wenger said at half time in the San Siro.

Carriages will be at midnight (or 11:50 for goons because they alway leave 10 minutes before the end)

I wouldn't be so sure. There's no way players will be risked at the expense of them being available for PL games.

It's easy to be upbeat when you've had a comfortable away win and now have 10 days rest. It's also been a useful workout for Jones, Cleverley and Young after injury. Had there been a game at the weekend and a key player had been injured or similar, he'd have had a very different outlook. Feckin' EL.

Is that what you think. Try this, what would be SAF's and your worst nightmare?....for all your efforts between now and May, to end up with fuk all and the noisy neighbours doing a double over you!. :D

I know they're one down, but there's a long way to go with home advantage to come.

It seems Ja has litterally imploded since Grand left. What did you do on the way out,

Portsmouth are back in administration! They have so many small local creditors and I feel really sorry for them as they could be receiving 10p back on every £1 owed which wouldn't even reach them in full for over a year!

Liquidate the club and sell off all it's assets to pay the creditors. Let the supporters set up a new club if they want but the club's unworkable and is only racking up more debts despite actually exceeding expectations by staying in the Championship.

Apparently a user amasses points depending upon his activity on this site - the more points you amass the more ....... well, points you amass. Unlike a certain game show however on net606 points don't mean prizes <ok>
