He's in the u18 squad for match against Poland. Good luck to him!

Also, two Crewe players in there! The fact it's being played at Gresty Road might have something to do with that, but considering their level, their academy is quite something. Probably even better than ours!

Lovely, nice to see our kids making their way in the game. Would be nice to see more of them getting a run out before the end of the season.

And as for Crewe, they've developed players like Danny Murphy, Rob Jones, David Vaughan and Dean Ashton who've played at international level in the past 20 years, as well as other players like Robbie Savage and David Platt who were picked up by them having been released by bigger clubs following their youth careers. Dean Ashton especially is the sort of player who England seem to be missing right now...still feel really bad for him :emoticon-0106-cryin Anyways, point being don't underestimate their Academy. It may not be churning out England internationals right now, but there's a few players around Championship level like John Brayford who've made the move up from the Crewe Academy and first team to the Championship.

So much love for Crewe. Nick Powell is going to be something special. They haven't produced any Walcotts or Bales, but they have a steady flow of Championship-quality players coming through that system. Danny Murphy, Dean Ashton, David Vaughan and Nicky Maynard are a few of the notable ones.

Congratulations to Jack. Interesting about Crewe's academy..well done to them. Though 'pass the football' should be careful that Cortese doesn't hear him say that their academy is better than ours...he knows where we live<laugh>
