There looks to be a clear out sale down at Arsenal this summer. The like of Rosicky, Arshavin, Squillaci, Chamakh, Park Ju-Young to name a few. I personally think of all the players that will be shifted on, Theo Walcott could be a snip.

Wenger insists on playing him out wide on the right, even though he is never a right winger in a million years. He is striker out and out, or at very least a left winger in a 4-3-3.

Depending on how much % off this sale will be, he may be available cheaper than expected.

No doubt most people will turn there noses up at the very site of the name Walcott, but the lad gets a bad rap for far too much then he deserves. What has he done wrong? Got picked for the world cup at 16? Kept his head down and tried to get to grips with being a right winger? Being inconsistent with his crossing? So what. He ain't a winger. He's a striker, and a decent one on the whole at that from what I've seen when he gets through on goal.

Get him in, stick him up front, then watch him terrify defences throughout the land with his uncatchable pace and his mostly very tidy finish.

Looks like Wenger might have been reading the wish list some of our guys have been putting up for a while now.

Mario Gotze, Lukas Podolski and Eden Hazard

Wenger know he has to buy, they are a shambles at the moment. RVP not signed up so if no big signing, he will be off.
Walcott would be a good buy for any club but think he would want to go to a club playing European football.

Well let's just see where we end up when this season is over... :)

Agree that Walcott has a 'high profile' and might prefer a CL club but I think we all know, Englishmen hate travelling abroad and do you really see Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Spurs falling over themselves over a player who is not top-level but will still want at least £50kpw?

Depending on the asking price, I'd love to see us go for him. I definitely rate him and handled correctly could very well be an England regular.

....he could replace Obertan on the right wing. ;)

I'd be interested in almost any winger playing for any decent club in the Premiership. I think we've got a really strong spine to the team (Krul, Colo, Saylor, Tiote, Cabaye, Cisse, Ba) but our flanks are holding us back in the big games.

Of all the Arsenal players, I'd only take Vermaelen, Walcott, RVP & Wilshere. So realistically I'd only take Walcott (and for no more than £6 mil or so)

Don't think we have a chance of getting Gotze or Hazard. Far too expensive and will be looking for champions league football. They'll be on sky high wages as well!

Podolski is a possibility though I doubt he'd leave his home town club for us.

With how Walnut has been playing, i'd pop in a bid of £2.99. Wenger will surely accept it. You get a free Almunia with every purchase.

Can we have Fabianski, it would be amusing for me because all of my mates and family say I look exactly like him. Not sure if that's a good thing mind. :bandit:

It's not too bad.
