16/1 is a definite each way proposition. Beat LR in the RSA so we know he's not a mug around Cheltenham. I'd be fairly keen at 16/1. Not so much at anything shorter. The w/o the front two would be interesting.
That's true - wind might be doing it. Is it blowing at Newbury? We'll probably never really find out.
I have backed Zarkandar - saver on CICERON who was cantering last time out but didn't get home - had been impressive before that
What stops me getting stuck into Zarkandar is that just because he's obviously 10lbs (minimum) better than 151 doesn't really mean much if something down the bottom of weights is 15lbs better than its current mark. The best horse isn't really meant to win handicaps after all.
seeing i have a few minutes free in my schedule,i may as well give you all a winner for theneet----IMPERIAL FONG. spiced rums a plenty when this one goes in.
Surely the effect of the wind will cancel itself out? It might be blowing from behind in the back straight but it will be in their faces in the home straight. Unless it's blowing in circles. Surprised at Nass suggesting that tbh
I did bet it with Ladcrooks- so the price will never be great lol It just looked to simple not to lol. Should have a done a treble with Zarkandar- but have a done LR & Zarkandar double- pays 15/2 last night
RV, think he is being prepped for a handicap run at Chelts. Oddy, wind doesn't blow universally, so they could have a strong directional movement in one part of the course but lesser in another area. Also wind could be reason for the faster than suggested ground. Do keep up
I've backed Zarkandar, but ive got a bad feeling about it. His price looks to good to be true, with the way the Triumph form has worked out
