Long Run was conceding 10lbs to the runner up and was idling in front imo when Burton Port came to him he went away again

Doubt it Mech - Long Run friendless in the market all day and Burton Port was the biggest market mover. If anything you'd expect the other way round if there was a fiddle going on. Both from the same stable and I doubt Barry gives two hoots about letting Long Run win and thereby taking his share of the prize money.

pleased with Long Run, he won that well enough giving weight to a horse who looks like a really good sort if they can keep him fit and well. Long Run should take all the beating at the festival, if Zark wins I will reinvest a little more on LR.

Long Runs jumping was good for almost every jump. One or 2 he got close into but other than that youve got to be happy with that...

quel---only just thought the very very slightest--just watched again and think my quote fiddle was bit harsh.long run needed the blow out and as francome says,some of the stable have had bet on burton port in gc.could be worth a nibble being fresh.

With all these track records I'm beginning to question the validity of the performances. Sprinter Sacre looked very impressive but why did he break the track record when there was nothing to run against him for the last half mile? Did Long Run's race look like a track record worthy performance? Big question marks for me.
