So tomorrow Portsmouth will find out with they are allowed to enter administration for the second time. Having applied for an administrator on Monday they will tomorrow find out whether they have been successful. HMRC have already got a court date with them on Monday - a winding up petition was issued to the club around 3/4 weeks ago. My question is will they be successful or will it be blocked given their financial status and WUP.
I just can't see a club of that stature being allowed to wind up. They'll get away with it again and again. Prove me wrong, powers that be. Prove me wrong.
With Portsmouth having the dockyard, "the tower" , Charles Dickens. They will say some bollocks about tourism input and that the city needs a football club or something along those lines! They will get away with it! Slippery fish ****ers!
Yep they will get away with it and Andronikou will be appointed again so he can make even more money for his company! I hate to say this but I feel a little sorry for our fishy neighbors
Same old comments - why put this thread on the Pompey site, Rickie ? Better off merely putting it on Southampton's site only, in future. Just saying
Yeah I'm with Woopert, this seems sort of inflammatory to post on the portsmouth forum. They must be getting sick of all the posts from us lot (myself included) on their board lately.
Meowth messaged me about it earlier. I cannot edit it on my iPhone at the mo and my laptop is inaccessible so I would suggest that this thread is either closed or wait until I can edit it tomorrow. I just wanted to hear Portsmouth's fans views
Quite agree Wooperts. We are very lucky indeed not to be in a similar situation & we should be ever thankful that Markus Liebherr arrived when he did. Also very grateful that his family are committed to see his vision through. How many other clubs have been that lucky. I think he was very canny in appointing Nicola Cortese as Chief of Operations. He is not ever going to do anything stupid. In the meantime, we have a massive challenge to get out Championship, so lets all concentrate on that while at the same wishing GOOD LUCK to all genuine Pompey fans. After all, we surely have a common bond in our love of the game
The parachute payments (about 17 million left) will prevent Pompey from being wound up. If they go into administration, they can access some of this now and in the future. It is their one asset (apart from players).
I think I may of taken it off for you....Can't see it on the Pompey board now (although I didn't look too hard I admit)
Would piss Chanrai off if the administration application failed. And I thought the parachute money was ring-fenced to pay the CVA.
I reckon they'll go into Administration, be deducted 10 points and we'll have to beat them at SMS to relegate them and confirm our promotion...... Good times to be a Saint!!!
