The point I was trying to make is I don't think there are an abundance of great players out there.. You lot are one of a number of clubs who need players but aren't getting any.. Why because there isn't that many out there none you could get over them either going to city or Madrid or such like..

In 2008 Wenger had the chance to sign Modric but opted against it because we had Fabregas - a player that everyone knew at some point would go back to Barcelona - especially after winning the Euros with Spain, it is obvious he would want more trophies.

Its better to buy someone slightly better than walcrap than it is to just have the money go into the owners pockets.
Obviously it was a very poor performance and result tonight for you guys but I think people are being a bit harsh on Wenger. I don't think anyone expected anything other than the Manc clubs to be the top two so you're second best of the rest which isn't bad given the sort of money Chelsea, Liverpool and even Sunderland have spent in comparison. Still in the FA Cup too.

I don't get what your argument is, you seem to be pretty pedantic at this point. While I agree with you that Ramsey is not **** and hasn't been ****, he hasn't been very good - so you can see the point that Jayram is trying to make. Even the commentator today commentated on his flicks that never came off. What did Ramsey do today of any note ? Absolutely nothing and he has had far too many of these sort of games this season. We shouldn't be starting with him because we haven't played hardly any good games when he has started - and with him AND Walcott on the pitch its a massive handicap. He doesn't look ready yet.

Yes tonight he was wrong but Milan are a very good side and even if a better manager with the right tactics was in place it would have been a real struggle to get something. I just think that a lot of Arsenal fans in their late teens and 20s have grown up with a lot of success and expect a bit too much now when the reality isn't so terrible.

Every year seeing a reduction in quality, that Milan team were NOT good at all, our team last season would've beat them. We made them look good, don't believe the hype. Shocking defending, shocking midfield and no attack worth talking about, that was Arsenal tonight. But because we beat 10 man Blackburn 7-1 the good times are here ....

And despite all of that you're the fourth or fifth best team in the country. Could it not just be that this is nearer to your true position and the years of major success were a positive blip as a result of some extraordinary signings and management? I'm not trying to wum but it just comes across as a bit spoilt that people expect so much.

Look at our goalkeeping problem from a few years back, Arsenal should NEVER have been in that situation. Then we had the CB problem, our DM problem, all problems easily fixed if Wenger admitted we had a problem.
