If you discount Celtic and Rangers the best the other teams realistically could hope for was 3rd - or they might overtake one team once every blue mooon and split the SPL Chances of them overtaking both were slim If one team is gone every other SPL team will attempt to take 2nd spot - thus potentially improving all sides as they strive for that. They'll also know that if they can outdo Celtic that could mean a title and not just 2nd place for their efforts - unlike seasons gone by I therefore think it could very much improve the SPL if Rangers die plus it will be funny

Gers fans are scrapping about looking for reasons that Celtic fans should be worried. This is all this is. I will be overjoyed if Rangers go down the plughole, ****ing ecstatic. Never has there been a club as odious as Rangers. I might have some sympathy for their many decent fans and definitely for staff laid off but the club itself? Na.
What player would want to play in a 1 team league? Celtic will suffer in the long term, as they will not get any quality players to play for them (not that they have any )
