Yeah ok, stupid substitutions and team selections but let's not forget one of the other men on the management team that nobody ever talks about... Michael Emenalo...

Personally I was astonished when he was promoted to assistant manager under Ancelotti to replace Wilkins. This for me marked the beginning of the end for King Carlo as we pretty much went downhill soon after... and then they promote him further still to bloody technical director! If anyone is unclear, a technical director is defined as:

"...sought by a board – or even manager – in order to provide advice or technical assistance on footballing or other aspects that are perceived as lacking or desired by the club. This may be the case where the manager is inexperienced or perceived as naive in a particular aspect, allowing the director to advise against potentially costly errors."

REALLY ???

AVB has had a better pedigree than Emenalo, I really question why this man is being so heavily involved particularly when the club consider that he "takes on a vital role that will assist the overall long-term football strategy of the club."

Does anyone think otherwise?

Overall, Abramovic is to blame for the whole sacking Wilkins and loads of mangers that has led to this situation. But then, he's done good things too.

Right now, AVB's position only seems viable if there is a clear out and he is allowed lots of money to rebuild the squad as he was brought in to do.

Or if he's given some help . Emenalo appears to be as useful as a spare navel, and Robby de Mateo has not exactly covered himself with glory. AVB may have overestimated his own abilities. Either way, you should only ever hire people you think can be better than yourself. No point having assistants who don't assist. Right now AVB needs all the help he can get, whoever and wherever they are.

that assistance should start from himself first..
stop making stupid selections like Malouda, Drog, Bos...

even if he plays youngsters and if we finish out of 4th that is fine for me.. write off this season and atleast youngsters will have experience to start the next season with hope..

tbf stanclave, I think Drog coming back from africa will be a revelation. He's the person who fits this style of flat dull play and someone who can actually make Malouda look half decent <laugh>.

Nope ... Roman is to blame ... He sacked the manager who won you lot the double because you only came 2nd last srason....DOH!

All managers ultimately are responsible for the clubs results. Its part of the PL culture, and why they get lots of money and get the sack so often! Apart from Wigan and MU, there's no manager thats safe!

i blame one single man ... Abra .. he keep changing mangers like he change his shirts not allowing any the time to adopt to PL or buy their own players to fit their style, instead he buy what he want .. he is acting like a child tbh
who on earth sack Jose? then bring one after another more foreign managers with no experience in EPL, expecting them to adopt in one season without giving them the chance to pick their team

why sack AVB? who will Chelsea bring instead? chelsea is not a RAT lab to keep testing mangers !! enough with changing ...that is what killing the club

why chelsea fans never tired to show Abra the discontent when he insisted on playing sheva and sacking Jose? same last year with poor ancelotti ? where was chelsea fans protest ? someone need to tell Abra.. "shut up man .. let manager work and build their team"

I think we let him know yesterday, even if he wasn't there he'll hear about it.

I'd like to see OB Brendan Rodgers in the hot seat. Star manager of the future and he learned his trade here at Chelsea! Are you listening Roman????

Doing a little maths, Chelsea have taken 12 points from a possible 30 in their last 10 games. I'm sorry, wtf is going on?

I'm unsure why you're trying to shift the blame to Emenalo who has zero to do with 1st team these days.Zero.
Not according to the club.

"now supports the work of the first team manager"

Ancelotti was undermined by his appointment, it didn't make any sense. He's an old pal of Mr Grant after all, and a pal of his is a pal of Roman's. What makes you so sure he has nothing to do with the first team when the position itself and the CFC site say otherwise ? And I'm not entirely shifting the blame, hence the question in the OP............................................................................

I hate Emanalo, wasn't he like a youth coach a few years ago? We need those clowns Gourlay and Buck out of our club and two people who actually know the game of football and let our scouts/manager do the signing of players and not themselves <doh>.

Oh and I imagine if we'd actually beaten United 3-0 last week our confidence would've kickstarted for the rest of the season!

Totally agree on all points! If only there was a Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares style show but for footy clubs...
Oooh I might be onto a winner there :emoticon-0112-wonde

I hate fans like you. When we were winning it was all down to the players and manager but when we lose you blame those in the back ground.Shameful.
